The Flagler Inn St. Augustine is an eco-friendly boutique hotel nestled in the heart of Saint Augustine, America’s oldest continually occupied city. All rooms feature a microwave, small refrigerator, and flat-screen television. Coffee-making facilities are also offered.

A daily continental breakfast is complimentary for up to two guests per room and is available at The Flagler Inn. Additional $5 per voucher per extra guest is available. Guests can work up a sweat at the onsite fitness center, or cool off in the outdoor pool. A full-service restaurant and bar, Taco Libre, is also on site.

Central Saint Augustine and Castillo de San Marcos are 1.7 miles away. Ponce De Leon’s Fountain of Youth is 1.1 miles away. Guests can explore bird-watching and hiking trails at Fort Mose Historic State Park, a six minutes’ drive away. Wine tours and live music are offered at San Sebastian Winery, which is a five minutes' drive from the hotel.

The front desk attendant was the only redeeming part of this place — friendly, professional, and clearly doing their best to hold together a motel that’s falling apart. The first room we walked into had stained bedding and grimy pillows that looked like they’d survived multiple previous guests… and their nightmares. We complained, and the attendant moved us to another room, which somehow managed to be even worse — complete with a foul smell that hit us the second the door opened. As if that wasn’t enough, the noise from the road and nearby railway made it feel like we were sleeping on the shoulder of a highway. We grabbed our bags and left immediately, choosing to pay extra for a real hotel instead of trying our luck with another “cute boutique” disappointment. This place wasn’t charming — it was chaotic, dirty, and absolutely not worth a night’s stay.

This will mark the 2nd time we have stayed at this location. It is an affordable place to stay compared to others around. They do serve continental breakfast from 700 to 930AM. Which gives you a choice of eggs, sausage, cereals, muffins and make your own waffles. It is located on A1A so there is a high traffic level and can get noisy with the cars and trains. The room is decent size. Ours had 2 queen beds, a sofa chair, dresser with TV and 1 nightstand. It also had a table with 2 chairs. We were never hounded by the staff to clean our room or vacate the day we were to check out. Which is always a PLUS! The cleanliness could be better. The floor was littered with debris and left my white socks not so white. My husband found a receipt on the floor, somewhat behind the bed, thinking it was our, nope! It was dated from back in June. Last stay the water within the shower was WAY too hot, this time not so much. More like a luke warm shower.

Yes overall. It's centrally located close to pharmacies, some places to eat and to Historic District. The room was clean, with toiletries, TV, internet, microwave and fridge, pool and free parking with a 2 floor boutique rooms with smoking area outside. Very friendly and attentive 24 hr staff. The cons are that no one tells you about a loud honking train in the middle of the night, no coffee maker in the room, breakfast was meh ok, not much space to sit. They have to change their website stating no restaurant on site.
