"Beverly Hilton Fell Way Short, Stay Elsewhere"

We were traveling through LA for one night and I decide to splurge a little to stay at this iconic hotel. Unfortunately, I wish I hadn’t. The Good - It IS Iconic. The lobby and hotel itself are stunning. The rooms are unique and very boutique-vibe, the bathrooms are stunning. Location also is great, close to many things to do. The staff (aside from reception) were so kind. The bellman took the time to walk us through our room and the engineer that had to fix our lights was also very friendly. The Bad - Can’t speak for the ground with all the construction (but I did not dock them for this). The room we booked, was not available - sold out. We booked non-refundable, even. We’re told we were given an ‘upgrade’, which to me was not. It was the same room with a King bed and a pull out they were calling a suite. It was supposed to have a terrace which our original room did not, but when I asked them at least for a view, and not of construction that put us in a room WITHOUT a terrace. Stop calling this an upgrade. Our lights didn’t work, so we had to call an engineer to the room to fix them and then they proceeded to host an even outside our room until Midnight. We got very little sleep, it was so loud pretty much ruining the next day we were so tired. We ordered room service as we were out late and wanting to just relax, their menu is very limited and only real options are VERY expensive. Our club was fine, however the cake was still frozen and we couldn’t eat it. Wish they had more options on the menu besides a Seafood Tower and an $100 Steak, its room service not fine dining. And, while I am on a rant about where the hotel fell short, the beds are not great. Cute in appearance but we just came up from the hotel del Coronado where you melted into the bedding, to this which felt more like a normal Hilton. I am almost exclusively a Hilton-guest when I travel, and this was very close to one of the worst experiences I’ve had and I will not be staying here again. Save your money and stay at a normal Hilton somewhere else close by.

"Elegant AND friendly"

What a great hotel. Not only elegant and spacious but I was blown away with the friendliness of the staff. Lucho greeted us at the door and made us feel like family. Every staff interaction I had after that was simply excellent. Especially difficult since they are beside a construction site AND undergoing some internal renovations as well. Loved this hotel. Hope to stay here again

"Disappointed and Sleep-deprived"

My wife and I stayed one night at The Beverly Hilton after a weekend event, hoping for a relaxing getaway—but the experience was anything but restful. The hotel sits directly beside a massive construction site, and at or just before 7 am on SUNDAY, jackhammers, beeping trucks, alarms, and general construction noise began—and never stopped. The clatter was so incessant that we couldn’t enjoy our balcony (where multiple large vehicles were parked and idling directly below), nor could we sleep. I called the front desk to complain; the agent promised a manager would call me back, but after 90 minutes of listening to loud backing noises, no one reached out. When I called again, the agent seemed to think I was asking for a late checkout—completely ignoring the construction issue—even after I stepped onto the balcony so she could hear the racket. Finally, Mr. Sandoval the manager called—and his solution was to send us ear buds. For a $500+ room, that felt profoundly disrespectful. To their credit, the hotel ultimately comped us an extra night, but by then the damage was done. No one mentioned the ongoing construction at booking, and the “view” was of parking lot machinery, not the glamorous palm trees you see in photos. Terrible communication, zero transparency, and certainly not the peaceful retreat we paid for. I can’t recommend The Beverly Hilton unless you enjoy an alarm-clock made of heavy machinery.

"Disappointing experience"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5

I read the reviews before I arrived and was surprised how bad some were but the experience was poor! 2 days before arrival I emailed to check cost of transport from the airport to hotel? They quoted $275 compared to Uber of $50! However, I was then told the hotel would be on lockdown on arrival day until 4pm! We have been travelling so that was no good for us with 4 cases! After numerous emails the front desk manager ( Julian, who was excellent) arranged for us to drop off our cases and checked us in finally at 3pm. Also, as a diamond member they upgraded us to a superb room! The website says renovations taking place but reviews had informed us of no pool, which is currently a massive hole in the ground and the concierge told us will be two years before completed! The hotel had events on throughout which made everything chaotic! We went to the top floor bar, which was ok but they kept getting our bill wrong! In summary, really disappointed in such a previous world class hotel.

"IT'S AN OLD HOTEL! NEED TO BE DEMOLISHED & BUILD A NEW ONE"

It's a great location, next to the Waldorf Astoria & the new condominiums under construction. But this hotel Its 70 years old, they try to renovaid few times but looks old & the rooms are not as today's' needs. What you get as a member Hilton Honors DIAMOND (Top at Hilton) at this hotel, you can get it in any other similar chain without being one! I'm going this hotel since 1964, when my father took me for the first time to L.A. & has a very good memories, but this last trip was really terrible: In the front desk I wasn't treat as a Diamond member, The room I get was far from the elevator & with a lot of noise of the renewing of the pool hotel, I get free breakfast with my reservation until 11:00 AM, but at 10:30 the server says that the kitchen only serve lunch? At check out, the Bellman never send a Bellboy to pick-up our luggage, we need to do it ourselves, telling us that they have a lot of luggage to pick-up Next trip I would stay at The Century City Hotel & Change my HH Points into to an Airlines. Chao Hilton Hotels.
