"Very Nice Affordable Hotel"

This hotel was a Comfort Inn and recently changed to Spark by Hilton. Don’t underestimate by the past reviews. The location is ideal for downtown historic Grapevine, is very affordable and has been upgraded with new paint, carpeting, furnishings & fixtures throughout. We were checked in by Tisha at the front desk. I can’t say enough about her excellent customer service. She texted shortly after we were in the room to confirm everything was satisfactory, arranged the shuttle to take us to the theater about a mile away and also pickup later that evening. The pool looked nice although we didn’t utilize it. Breakfast was basic continental with boiled eggs, bagels, cereals, muffins & fruit. Coffee & tea in the lobby 24/7. The room & beds were clean and comfortable, had good black out curtains and air conditioning worked very well. Our only issue was there is some traffic noise from the nearby freeway. But still would highly recommend for affordability and location. Again, kudos to Tisha for her exemplary customer service!

"Simplistically Fantastic"

This hotel is severely under rated. We found ourselves stuck in Dallas after vacationing in Jamaica. We were just in need of a place to stay while waiting for our rescheduled flight the next day. We were greeted with the loveliest smile and warm welcome at the reception desk. It was only 9am and we were hoping to request to put our bags somewhere and wait for check in. Much to our surprise, we were offered an extremely early check-in for a nominal fee. This was so appreciated after cancelled fights. The hotel shuttle is prompt but also dual purposed. When available, the shuttle can be used for transportation within a 3 mile radius. Given this hotel's location, you'll have access to historic Grapevine, home of history, charming shops and wonderful food options. Within walking distance, there's several options to eat like Rock and Brews, Velvet Taco and more. (Don't let Google maps fool you, you can walk!) We would absolutely stay here again. This simple but clean and hospitable property was perfect for our unintentional stay near DFW.

"A very average hotel"

I normally stay at the Home 2 Suites or Homewood Suites when I travel out of DFW. Took a flyer on this hotel and was really disappointed jn the overall quality. My room had been painted blue at some point (doors and trim) and every nearby surface (door handles and the like) had blue paint on them. Like no thought was given to masking. Overall it just felt unclean. Great location - just a couple of minutes from DFW and tons of places to eat just a block or so west - but felt like a shabby Comfort Inn vs a Hilton.

"Wonderful Hotel and Staff!"

I want to take a moment to say how wonderful my experience was during our stay. I can't begin to express how impressed I was with the entire staff from the Front Desk-Housekeeping right down to Management! The room was very clean and the service was outstanding!! I would recommend this Hotel to anyone and I know we will be back for another stay in the future!!

"Horrible Customer Service!"

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience with Spark by Hilton Grapevine DFW North that I feel compelled to share as a warning to other travelers. Due to circumstances completely beyond my control, American Airlines canceled my flight, making it impossible for me to reach the hotel for my reservation. When I contacted the hotel to explain the situation and request a cancellation without penalty, I was met with rigid policies and a concerning lack of empathy. Despite providing documentation of my flight cancellation and explaining that this was an unforeseen circumstance, the hotel: Refused to cancel my reservation - Charged me the full amount for a room I physically could not use - Offered no alternative solutions or accommodation dates - Showed minimal concern for my situation as a stranded traveler What was most disappointing was the complete absence of customer-focused problem-solving. In today's travel environment where disruptions happen, I would expect a major hotel chain like Hilton to have policies that account for documented travel emergencies. Instead, I was treated as if I was simply changing plans on a whim. For travelers considering this property, be aware that if any emergency or travel disruption occurs—even with proof and advance notice—you may still be fully charged with no recourse. I've stayed at numerous hotels that have reasonable policies for genuine travel disruptions, but unfortunately, this wasn't one of them. The lack of flexibility and customer support I experienced is particularly disappointing from a brand that markets itself as providing exceptional hospitality. I'm now reconsidering my future hotel choices based on this experience.
