"Way too expensive for a basic room"

Quickly chosen due to unexpected overnight lay over due to weather/missed connecting flight. Location: airport to hotel transit options: car, TexRail, hotel shuttle. Hotel is walking distance from TexRail stop. Hotel is near lots of great restaurants. Highly recommend sauteed crab fingers at Papadeaux!! Atmosphere/Room: basic but clean. Value: I didn’t have a chance to find the cheapest way to book and front lobby didn’t help. Paid $169+$75 pet fee. Plus taxes and fees. Ended up at $266. Shuttle used from airport after quite a bit confusion about pick up location and timing. Shuttle guy was fantastic himself tho. $5 tip. Front lobby said shuttle was available in morning (5am) but couldn’t book at night, had to call an hour before. At 4am I call and get another worker who is confused because shuttle doesn’t run until 7am. $30 uber+tip. 24/7 coffee meant a got a small and good tasting cup. Breakfast started at 6am so arrived to airport hungry. $40 airport breakfast. $301 for 1 weeknight stay. 3:45pm-5:00am

This hotel is one the very low standard and lousy one wherein in the breakfast they can only serve a banana and an apple if by chance you are a vegetarian and non eggeterian. They have very small rooms with no coffee maker and the washbasin is right in the gate access

"Very good hotel close to the airport with friendly staff"

We had to stay in Grapevine for a hospital visit of our brother who had had an accident. My sister from Germany and I came from Mexico, and we had only two days to book flights and hotel on short notice. I was astounded at the comfort and friendliness we experienced at Spark by Hilton! The rooms were spacious, clean and despite being so close to the airport that I could see the planes land from my window, I could not hear any outside noise. It was fun to do some plane watching through the mosquito screen of the hotel room, see pic. Staff at reception and the shuttle drivers were very helpful and nice. I did not try the breakfast, since I don't eat anything that early, but the tea and coffee cart was always filled all day and free of charge. It was fabulous that we found out, that the hotel shuttle not only picks up and drops off at the airport free of charge, but also drives you wherever you want during the day within the radius of 5km. Every day we got rides to the mall, the hospital, the restaurant. It took a weight off our minds during this difficult time to say goodbye to our brother. Highly recommend this hotel and would stay again if I had to come back or had a layover in DFW.

2 weeks on the road, many hotels across the USA, this has been the best and most reasonably priced so far. Impressed with the little details; 24 hr coffee station in the foyer, usb + usb-c + power points on bedsides, hooks to hang clothing/towels, full length mirror, vanity basin separate from the bathroom, large tv(by hotel room standards), pull out desk, complimentary airport shuttle and more. Cheerful and very helpful lady at front of house. The paint on the doors and door frames needs to be more durable but apart from that, this hotel is fantastic especially for the price.

"Very Nice Affordable Hotel"

This hotel was a Comfort Inn and recently changed to Spark by Hilton. Don’t underestimate by the past reviews. The location is ideal for downtown historic Grapevine, is very affordable and has been upgraded with new paint, carpeting, furnishings & fixtures throughout. We were checked in by Tisha at the front desk. I can’t say enough about her excellent customer service. She texted shortly after we were in the room to confirm everything was satisfactory, arranged the shuttle to take us to the theater about a mile away and also pickup later that evening. The pool looked nice although we didn’t utilize it. Breakfast was basic continental with boiled eggs, bagels, cereals, muffins & fruit. Coffee & tea in the lobby 24/7. The room & beds were clean and comfortable, had good black out curtains and air conditioning worked very well. Our only issue was there is some traffic noise from the nearby freeway. But still would highly recommend for affordability and location. Again, kudos to Tisha for her exemplary customer service!
