It is a full entertainment venue featuring an 18-hole miniature golf course and the prestigious SkyWheel observation wheel that stands nearly 200 feet above the area’s premier shopping and entertainment destination, Pier Park.

Your flight begins when you enter one of the 30 fully enclosed, climate-controlled gondolas. Open all year, you are always sure to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable flight, no matter the temperature outside. It’s one of the best things to do while you’re on vacation!

The SkyWheel’s operators monitor the weather closely and may close the wheel if winds are sustained above 35mph, or if the lightning is within a 5-mile radius of the wheel. The ropes course and mini golf course will close if lightning is within a 10-mile radius.

Is there a weight limit? How many people can fit in one gondola?

There is no weight limit per person. Each gondola can hold up to 1,300lbs and fit a maximum of 6 people.

Is the SkyWheel fully accessible?

Yes, all gondolas are fully accessible and can accommodate wheelchairs, scooters, crutches, walkers, and more.

What is the temperature inside the gondola?

The gondolas are temperature-controlled—heated and cooled to always be a comfortable experience for passengers, no matter the temperature outside.

What happens if I need to get off while the wheel is in motion?

All gondolas are equipped with a call button in case of emergency. With a simple push of the button, the operator will descend you to the unloading area as quickly as possible.

Is there anything else to do at the SkyWheel?
