First time staying here. This hotel is completely redone from top to bottom. New lobby, new guy, new rooms, new bar. Its location is excellent attached to the mall. The rooms were wonderful. I had an amazing view overlooking the Charles river. The bed was comfy. The shower could have used a bit more pressure. The bathroom had great light. The AC worked wonderful. The hotel went out of the way to accommodate my request for a quiet room. The hotel is nearly perfect. Best hotel stay in Boston ever.

"Be wary of charges as accounting was dishonest with regards to my stay."

As a Lifetime Platinum member with Marriott, I booked a points stay on July 10th, 2025 with 52K points redeemed for the night of July 12, 2025. Upon checkout, the correct invoice for $70 covering one day of valet services was received. Days later, $100+ in charges were added that when initially contacting the hotel, was told they were incidental charges that were a mistake and would be credited back. After a month, of waiting hotel accounting department was contacted and they then claimed a rate of $170 per night was agreed upon and that the charges would not be reversed. They submitted an invoice with fake customer initials as proof. The hotel's accounting department was given every opportunity to fix an obvious mistake on their end but failed. Not only did they waste my friends time and energy going back and forth with incidental or room charges that made no sense, but after given the run around, I was then forced to open a fraud case against the hotel via platinum vip services to get this issue hopefully resolved before I need to get involved even more.

"Great location, nice hotel!"

We had a great one-night stay on our way through Boston. Centrally located, clean, spacious - and they take dogs! We used Bonvoy points and it was 64k, which I thought was reasonable for a great location in the city for a Friday night. Pro-tip: the valet parking is $70 but you can self park for $45. Would recommend!

I recently traveled up to Boston for a work meeting. When I saw we were staying at the Sheraton Boston, I was a little nervous due to my hotel snobiness. Turns out, the hotel is newly renovated (and in fact, still under construction on some floors). The Sheraton was fine but I likely will not be returning any time soon. Providing my HSH list below for the finnnne Sheraton Boston: Pros: - Room had stand up round table/desk in room. I have never seen this and loved to work in the room! - Connected to mall which has lots and lots of dining options and good shopping - Great meeting space and beautiful ballroom with super high ceilings - Very nice, quiet lobby. This amazed me since it is such a big hotel. But there was something very serene about the lobby Cons: - Terrible noise level in sleeping rooms. During day I had to deal with background construction/drilling noise. At night, my fire alarm made a constant clicking noise. When I informed the hotel, I was told “we have heard this from several guests and need the fire alarm company to come review”. Cool. Would be great if you could call the fire alarm company... I also was able to hear my neighbor snoring for two nights straight - Thermostat super stinks. The system turns to automatic even if you continuously place on “High”, “Med”, or “Low” - Very small room service menu - Smallest closet I’ve ever had at a hotel I likely won’t be staying here again but it’s a fine option for people that can sleep through anything.
