My husband & I had an amazing trip this year to this location & it did not disappoint. The staff, all of them, bellhops, front desk, housekeeping, management, valet, you name it, were ALL fantastic. So kind, outgoing, and just great to be around. We stayed for 2 full days & had a great time in the hotel itself & only ventured out when needed, which wasn't much. We also left a pillow behind on accident, thinking, it was gone forever...but I reached out, they found it, and sent it to us (you know how hard it is to get your pillow the way you like it, so this made us so happy because we were bummed to have left it). We also needed a little extension on our checkout for the last day & that process was also hassle free. Highly recommend this location for any hotel needs you may have in the area.

I had a wonderful experience with valet service at the Marriott San Diego La Jolla and wanted to take a moment to recognize Savoy Brown. I was just stopping by briefly to visit a friend and was looking for a place to park when he took the time to offer valet parking, even though I was only going to be there for a short while. His kindness and genuine helpfulness really stood out, and I truly appreciated it.

Just incredibly mediocre. I felt like I was at a lower level Marriott property. Absolutely no perks if you have Bonvoy status. And no room service. The first room they put me in was right next to the elevators, which was super loud and I had to wait In line all over again to get the new room even though I called down. Rooms were tired and worn out. The beds were fairly comfortable and the TV was large even tough the room was laid out so the bed was not facing the television. There’s a very small lounge but the breakfast only went until 9am or something very early. The pro here is the location. Close and walking distance to the Westfield mall and some very good restaurants.
