Staybridge Suites Orlando Royale Parc Suites by IHG in Kissimmee, FL

To Whom It May Concern, I am submitting this letter as a formal legal complaint regarding racial discrimination, harassment, and unprofessional managerial conduct involving my two minor children during my stay at an IHG-affiliated property. On December 16, 2025, at Ridge Suites Orlando – Royale Parc Suites, located at 5876 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, Kissimmee, FL 34746, USA, my children entered the hotel breakfast area to receive breakfast that was included with our paid reservation. While in the breakfast area, a staff member subjected my children to hostile and discriminatory treatment, including staring at them with visible disgust. My daughter was singled out and questioned in an accusatory manner with the statement, “Are you getting another pancake?” She was then instructed to leave the breakfast area, despite having violated no rules and being entitled to breakfast as a guest. This conduct caused my children emotional distress, humiliation, and confusion. No other guests were treated in this manner, and the conduct appears to have been motivated by racial bias. Following this incident, I immediately reported the matter to the on-duty manager, Angel Rodriguez. Rather than addressing the discrimination or showing concern for the emotional harm caused to minor children, Mr. Rodriguez responded in an aggressive, dismissive, and hostile manner. He displayed no compassion or empathy and instead raised his voice, yelling directives such as “Do not talk to my employees” and ordering me not to go to the breakfast area while stating that he would “investigate.” His behavior was intimidating, unprofessional, and further escalated the situation rather than resolving it. Mr. Rodriguez’s actions constituted retaliatory and hostile conduct toward a guest who raised a discrimination complaint. His response discouraged transparency, prevented immediate fact-finding, and demonstrated a failure to follow basic guest-relations and civil rights standards. The discriminatory treatment of my minor children, followed by hostile managerial conduct, represents a serious violation of civil rights protections, hospitality industry standards, and IHG’s stated policies on inclusion, non-discrimination, and guest safety. This incident caused emotional harm to my children and compromised our sense of safety and dignity during our stay.

Fantastic stay! The hotel was great, but what really stood out was the bar service. Mallory and Tim were amazing—so attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. They made us feel welcomed and were happy to answer any questions we had. Truly top-notch service!

Resort is very nice and clean , employees are extremely professional . Paula was great at the front desk and both bartenders Tim and Mallory were extremely friendly . I definitely recommend staying here !

Great place to stay. The staff is very attentive and acomodating. The complimentary breakfast was a nice surprise, since it was a full breakfast, not a continental like other places. I can’t praise enough the front office staff specially the morning agent named Kavern. She is very professional and friendly. This property should make her a manager and keep her. People like that is very hard to find.

The location was a good area but the rooms wasn't clean. Our room had old cookies on the floor and chips behind the couch. The Brsakfast bar needs help. The staff isn't so much polite and stating they weren't familiar with the system. They also charge you for parking without asking you if you're parking on their property. The price isn't worth the value. It wasn't noisy but it can use some upgrades and upgrades with the staff.
