"Wouldn’t Stay Here Again"

We stayed 4 nights at the Residence Inn Middletown/Goshen. The breakfast was typical for a Residence Inn, parking was free, and the location was good - centrally located and off the highway enough that you don't hear traffic noise, but that's where the positives end. The beds were uncomfortable and had only a sheet and a comforter. It would have been nice to have a light blanket with the sheet since the room was way too hot for a comforter. The thermostat said 66 on the wall, but it was obviously not working or purposefully turned off by the hotel. The shower temperature was hot one minute and cold the next. One morning, I was 5 mins into my shower when the shower went cold. I shivered for the remainder of my shower as I rinsed shampoo and conditioner from my hair. My husband and son experienced the same thing every day. The shower walls also needed a good scrub down. There was mold around the faucet and mold dotted on the walls (see my pictures). Needless to say, we did not touch the walls and wore shower flip flops. Some maintenence was needed in the room. There was a large crack in our wall (see my pictures) and the phone did not work properly. The phone had a dial tone, but as soon as you press the button for receptionist or housekeeping, it gave you an error recording. The walls between rooms are not sound proofed at all. We heard our neighbors TV and morning alarm as if it was in our room. Finally, the room was only services every 3 days. This would have been nice to know when we checked in, yet nothing was said to us. We will not stay at this Residence Inn, again. In fact, we would have checked out early if we hadn't pre-paid.

"Nice Residence Inn to stay at in Orange County"

Very clean. The studio was spacious, but a king bed would be better than the queen that was in the room. Everything looked pretty new and well-maintained. Location is near the mall but not within walking distance. Note - every room that sleeps 2 people should have a minimum of 4 bath towels. Women like separate towels for their hair.

"Fun time in upstate New York!"

Came in for a wedding and got the chance to meet lovely Rocio at the front desk. Her welcoming demeanor, and professionalism is something that the Hotel and her team should be very proud of. She truly knows how to make you feel comfortable and at home right away. Rocio is truly a shining star at that Front Desk. Later on in the evening, we met David whose bubbly personality really set the stage for the late night after party. We can’t think everyone Enough for the wonderful weekend. By the way, the breakfast was delicious and the staff was so helpful. I recommend this hotel tenfold.

"Terrible experience"

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. I made this reservation months ago and even confirmed it last week, yet the staff canceled it without notifying me (at 2pm), leaving me scrambling for a last-minute alternative at a much higher cost. The staff was unhelpful and acted like they did nothing wrong. Obviously, they overbooked, and we had to pay the price—literally! I expected far better service and accountability. By the way, I NEVER leave reviews.

"Good Stay"

Stayed here for one night while doing a driving tour of some national parks. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were happy that we could bring our pup with us. We would definitely stay again if in the area and will recommend this hotel.
