The entire staff with whom we were in contact were very helpful, courteous, and kind. The manager, Scott, went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable and relaxing stay. The restaurants, Bob's, Vue, and Bar Traza all have great food--no need to leave the resort if you don't want to! We always love spending one day at the spa, indulging in a facial and relaxing by the pool.

So incredibly impressed on Sunday by the hotel and by everyone who works here. The check in desk staff, the activities staff, the pool area servers, the valet staff - everyone’s level of friendliness and professionalism exceeded our expectations. We live out of state and visit often, and although we have yet to be hotel guests, we have rented pool cabanas through ResortPass several times before when we’ve been in town. On this trip we were meeting friends we haven’t seen in 7 years (who also live out of state) and celebrating my daughter’s 11th birthday. I was unable to get a pool pass through ResortPass. I happened to be driving past the hotel and decided to stop in to see if there was a chance they could help. As I explained the reason for our trip and why the pool visit this time was so important to us, everyone was genuinely eager to help in any way they could, despite my arriving at the last minute without prior notice, my not using ResortPass and my not being a hotel guest. It would have been perfectly within their rights to tell me that they were sold out of pool passes and that they were unable to help me, and that I’d have to book through ResortPass. Instead, they bent over backwards to help book me an afternoon cabana. Brad at the activities desk was determined, saying “I’m going to do whatever I can to get you in to the pool today to celebrate your daughter’s birthday.” He then went totally out of his way, spending more than half an hour making sure that we were able to book a cabana and get set up for the day. As a result, we had an amazing afternoon, I got to watch my girls having a total blast running around with my friend’s girls, playing on the water slides, in the hot tub and on the splash pad. Brad even brought over my daughter a birthday brownie with ice cream. She was delighted and it was made clear that everyone genuinely cared about making her experience a happy one. We were so grateful and so thoroughly impressed by the entire experience. A huge thank you to Brad, Sheila (who took my initial phone call), our server Lucas, and all of the staff we interacted with. Unmatched service. Come here and bring all your friends and kids and do not forget to TIP HEAVILY! I cannot say enough about how much we appreciated and valued everyone and enjoyed the whole day. We are already planning our next trip as official hotel guests!

Our overall stay at the Omni resort was very good. The concierge, Catherine was awesome, helped me get things arranged ahead of time for my a family member birthday. Staff at Bob’s chophouse was also fantastic, very accommodating. The food was terrific too. My only negative issue with the Omni experience was I purchased an $80 credit to be used for $100 worth of goods at one of the restaurants or stores but I forgot to use it when we went to the restaurant for dinner. Spoke to the front office staff at checkout expecting they would just give me a &80 credit to my card but they refused saying it was “use it or lose it.”I found this shocking as I spent over $2000 at this resort and in the restaurant. Left a very bad taste. There are a lot of resorts in San Diego. I’ll choose another next time.

The room set up has a door in the bathroom that leads to another guests bedroom. The neighbor knocked on our door and complained that he could hear our kids. We booked the villa to accommodate our family of 5. The hotel staff could not offer any solution to our issue with the neighbor. The food at Vue was undercooked and had to be sent back during breakfast. We found hair in our chicken strips and fries when we ordered from the splash restaurant at the pool. The main pool was filthy and had clumps of women’s hair in it. To top it off, we had numerous charges on our portfolio bill that we did not make and have not been refunded for yet.

Upon checkout, any unused funds will be credited back to your bank account. Based on the business rules of your bank, it may take up to 72 hours or longer to be processed.
