When we arrived Bonnie & Jason greeted us at the front desk. Bonnie checked us in and very friendly. Since it was our first stay, Jaosn offered to give us a tour. He showed us the restaurant and the Skybar. Everything was done up for the holidays! He introduced us to the lady in the gift shop (she was very nice). He showed us his desk and showed us how to use the elevator. The room had a fantastic view and was spacious. The hotel is very active on the weekends but pretty chill during the week. We go toHollywood on a pretty regular basis and like to sample different hotels. We will definitely stay here again. When we left we felt like we made some new friends with some of the staff - especially Jason, we bothered him the most and he was patient and fun. Note: I would suggest this might not be the best choice for families with young children.

I had an amazing experience with Ki at the Mondrian on Sunset. From the very beginning, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. Ki made the entire reservation process smooth and stress-free. She took the time to answer all my questions, made sure I got exactly what I needed, and went above and beyond to accommodate my stay. Her customer service is outstanding — friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. You can tell she genuinely cares about guests having the best experience possible. Because of Ki, I felt confident and well taken care of before I even arrived. If you’re staying at the Mondrian, ask for Ki. She embodies true hospitality and is a major reason I’ll be coming back. Thank you, Ki, for making everything perfect!

I stayed at The Mondrian a few months ago, and while the Hotel itself is nice, The Casa Madera restaurant was a little pricey but beautiful, my issue was with the Sky Bar. I don't know what has changed in the past 6 months as in the past Sky Bar was fun. Maybe new ownership but Sky Bar is ruining an otherwise nice experience. The crowd at Sky bar has gone downhill. It ranged from guys who look like they would slip something in your drink, to straight up ghetto. The picture I am posting is of one of the clientele from Sky Bar. My suggestion is to change the management of Sky bar because I won't be returning until you do.

Mixed feelings. I had a very pleasant room upgrade to a studio suite. It was extremely spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The housekeeping was excellent and the room always clean. Breakfast was a little chaotic as they were obviously trying their best but clearly understaffed. When I checked out, I was presented with a very confusing bill, showing numerous individual charges that, when grouped together, totalled around $55 a night. When I broke down the small mandatory incidentals, I realised I had been charged nearly $100 for breakfast on the last day, which was a $22 avocado toast and a $4 drip coffee. All communication with the hotel has gone unanswered. It soured what was a mostly pleasant trip, as confidence is key. As should be the effort to correct a mistake when it's spotted. I can handle chaotic breakfast service, but not being charged almost quadruple the cost of the food and drink.
