Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square in New York City, NY

My credit card company failed to tell me they cancelled my reservation with no notice and thought my trip was ruined but Daniel was so very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate our stay. He’s a bundle of joy and has amazing service. If it were anybody else, I’m not so sure the results would’ve been the same. Thank you to Daniel and thank you to the supervisor here as well. Great room, amazing view, and very comfy beds!!

First visit to New York. Hotel so close to Times Square and the Subway system. Close to the Theatres. Within 10 mins walk from the bus/coach stop for Newark Airport. Busy street during daylight and quiet for sleeping. floor16 did not really give a good view but the we hardly in the room. The express lift was great and no delays going up or down.

A well situated hotel in the heart of all the action. All staff that we encountered were very friendly and knowledgeable. Check in and check out was a breeze also. The hotel is situated near many amenities and the heart of times square. The room felt a little dated but more art deco than anything negative. When we first arrived the room smelled a little smokey maybe but the smell dissipated quite quickly so not exactly an issue. The little convenience store also within the hotel is good for a quick pick up of any souvenirs or drinks etc.

We were greeted by Daniel at check-in (he had the most gorgeous beard decorated with butterflies!). We were on the last leg of our honeymoon and he made us feel celebrated by giving us an upgrade on our room. We had an amazing view of the Ball-Drop Tower and bits of Times Square. The location was fantastic, super close to the subway and different restaurants, and Broadway shows as well! Definitely a great value for what we paid. The cleanliness could have been a bit better in my opinion, but I do understand it’s an older hotel. Also, it was a little too warm in the room for our liking, even with the windows cracked open. (I guess the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning). Overall a great stay. Would stay again in the future because of the closeness to everything in Times Square.

We recently stayed at the Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square and had a generally positive experience. Check-in was smooth and efficient. James checked us in and kindly ensured that our whole party was placed on the same floor, which we really appreciated. We were on the 32nd floor, and my parents were lucky enough to receive a corner room with a fantastic view of Times Square. After reading previous reviews, we weren’t expecting too much from the rooms. It’s true that the furniture is quite tired, we had a broken door, and my parents had some broken drawers. The curtains could do with a wash, and the bathrooms would definitely benefit from renovation. That said, the sheets and bedding were spotless, white, and immaculate — which is the most important thing to me personally. The rooms themselves were perfectly fine for what we needed. It was simply a place to sleep, and for the price and location, you would be hard pushed to find better value in the area. There was an ice machine directly opposite our room on the 32nd floor, and it was working perfectly — we used it a lot during our stay, which was very convenient. Regarding heat and noise, which many reviews mention: yes, the rooms were warm, but we simply left the window open and it was the perfect temperature for us. Yes, you can hear noise from Times Square — but it’s Times Square, so we fully expected that. After long days out exploring, we were so tired that it really didn’t bother us. There are no breakfast or coffee facilities within the hotel itself. However, there is a lovely deli directly across the road on 44th Street, which suited us perfectly — we ended up having breakfast there three or four times during the week. There is also a small shop inside the hotel where you can pick up emergency essentials. It is quite expensive, but the man working there was very nice, helpful, and especially kind to our daughter, which we appreciated. Overall, if you’re looking for a prime location at a reasonable price and don’t mind slightly dated interiors, this hotel does the job.
