Description

Medieval Times is more than the nation's #1 and longest-running dinner attraction - it's a living link to the past where the glory, chivalry, and valor of old burst to life in authentic pageantry and thrilling tournament action.

While guests enjoy a hearty four-course medieval-style banquet (without silverware), six brave knights compete in games of skill astride magnificent Andalusian stallions. Lances splinter against shields of steel, broad swords spark, and a champion emerges, to the cheers of the enthusiastic crowd. The spectacle unfolds nightly inside a fully enclosed European-style castle.

The Feast:
The menu at Medieval Times consists of garlic bread, tomato bisque soup, roasted chicken, sweet-buttered corn, herb-basted potatoes, the dessert of the Castle, coffee, and two rounds of select beverages. A vegetarian meal is available upon request.

Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten-Free Meals:
The vegan meal includes a generous serving of hummus with carrot and celery sticks, a main course featuring three-bean stew with fire-roasted tomato and brown rice, and a choice of fresh fruit or Italian ice for dessert.

The vegetarian option includes all of these vegan dishes along with a side of warm pita bread.

Gluten-free meals available upon request include tomato bisque soup, hummus, carrot, and celery sticks, as well as the main course of roasted chicken, sweet-buttered corn, and herb-basted potato. You receive your choice of fresh fruit or Italian ice for dessert.

In addition, cocktail servers will be making the rounds and are happy to deliver a variety of spirits from the bar that guests request for an additional fee.

Allergy/Strobe Warning: Medieval Times is a live horse show in an enclosed arena. Persons with respiratory conditions, allergies, or asthma attend at their own risk. Medieval Times uses stroboscopic and pyrotechnic effects.

Everyone and everything was great. As soon as you walk up to the castle it is taking you back in time.The whole staff team play there parts and characters and speak as you would back in the times .Almost like you are transported back in time.and yes even the dinner too . Great for 2 or the whole family and kids. The show is great too….You are always entertained and cheer your team on to victory ….. bang for your buck this is the place #1 . The whole experience was well worth it . Thank you all……

Second time at Medieval Times, first rime at this location. We purchased the celebration package to celebrate our daughters 6th birthday and added on the knighting ceremony. Well worth every penny. We received framed pictures for everyone in our family including a photo of our youngest with the king and queen. Food was great and well seasoned, even our 6 year old couldn’t get enough! The story plot had so many twists and turns that even our teenagers were screaming and yelling and waving their red and yellow flags. Well worth the drive to Scottsdale!

I flew out to Arizona for my daughter’s friend’s #40 birthday🥳! TRULY… this location in Scottsdale went above & beyond!!! I have been numerous times @ the Buena Park location & Maryland. Last night our Server Will & EVERYONE was FANTASTIC! This 70 year old had a BLAST

This is so much fun. It’s expensive but you’re gonna get out of it what you put into it. Spend the money and cheer on your Knight to victory! Buy a sword, buy a frozen drink. Have fun with it. The food isn’t top tier but it is edible. Be prepared to eat with your fingers medieval style.

Food was GREAT, show was WONDERFUL. VERY entertaining. The green knight won and we were seated in his section. We were very impressed with the stunts the knights were able to do when fighting one another!

What is Medieval Times?

Medieval Times offers a boisterous, family-friendly experience inspired by an 11th-century feast and tournament. You’ll be served a 4-course banquet as you cheer for one of six knights competing in the joust and other tests of skill.

What should be expected at a Medieval Times performance?

Prepare for 2 hours of adventure set in Medieval Spain. Highly trained knights will joust and show off their swordsmanship in hand-to-hand combat, along with displays of horsemanship and majestic falconry.

How early should I arrive at Medieval Times Scottsdale, AZ?

The Castle doors will open 60 minutes prior to the showtime printed on your tickets. Many shows sell out, so it takes time to get everyone in efficiently and safely. Please Note: During the tournament, you will be seated only with guests booked under the same reservation. Groups booked under different reservations will be seated 1 seat between each group to maintain social distancing.

Is the show appropriate for all ages?

It is! Children under the age of 3 are admitted free as long as they sit on adults’ laps and eat from their plate. If you prefer the child to have his or her own seat and meal then the child rate would apply.

Is it true that we must eat with our hands?

Absolutely! Eating utensils were not used in the 11th century and the Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament takes you back! Please note: disposable silverware is available upon request.
