While guests enjoy a hearty four-course medieval-style banquet (without silverware), six brave knights compete in games of skill astride magnificent Andalusian stallions. Lances splinter against shields of steel, broad swords spark, and a champion emerges, to the cheers of the enthusiastic crowd. The spectacle unfolds nightly inside a fully enclosed European-style castle.

Not worth the time or insane amount of money. I didn't eat the food, so I have no opinion on that. I thought it was tacky to have employees come into the 'arena' during the show to sell merch. The horses really hurt me (emotionally). They say they are taken care of, as these type of shows always say, but the horses were all drooling excessively, and that can be an indication of the bit being ill fitting. The horses also all had their heads down. Could have been the loud noises or bright lights, but it was hard to witness.

This place is definitely an acquired taste! We took a family member who was visiting from overseas. We paid approx $500 for 5 people. First of all the smell of the horses hits you in the face as you enter the arena! And the horses are not in there yet! The food is meh and so is the show. They hardly put any effort in the garlic bread or tomato soup (more like tomato juice!) I'm not a fan of eating baked chicken (slathered with red dry rub) with my hands! The server did not provide our vegetarian guest with their full meal. They are constantly trying to sell alcoholic beverages and other items that you can't enjoy the show. Finally the server gave tip plates to 2 people seated at opposite ends of our group so we inadvertently tipped twice for this less than meh experience. We ended up getting White Castle on the way home for $30... so much more value for the money!

Our visit to Medieval Times was a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience from start to finish. The dinner service and meal quality exceeded expectations. As someone who follows a plant-based lifestyle, I was initially a bit concerned, but the vegan and gluten-free meal was outstanding—flavorful, well prepared, and thoughtfully presented. The service throughout the evening was excellent. Our server was professional, engaging, and genuinely accommodating. It was refreshing to be in a place where the staff clearly enjoyed their work; that positive energy truly enhanced the experience and felt like a return to genuine customer service. The box office, photo, bar, and gift shop teams were also warm and helpful. While the overall atmosphere was fantastic, a bit more organization and flow—especially around vendor areas and the knighting experience—could make navigation easier. The knighting area was fun but somewhat challenging to move through. With a little refinement, it could flow even better, particularly for older patrons. That said, the staff did a great job directing guests and keeping things enjoyable. My advice to anyone considering a visit: come ready for a night of fun and participation, wear comfortable shoes, and if you can, dress for the occasion. I was glad I invested in medieval attire—it truly added to the experience. While some items were a bit pricey, you really can’t put a price on creating lasting memories. Going with friends makes it even better—the more, the merrier. Overall, Medieval Times exceeded expectations and delivered a fun, immersive, and memorable evening. I would gladly return and recommend it to others.
