Had a great time. Disney parks were very close but parking at the parks are $25. per day. Ticket prices at the parks are also very expensive. Went in March because we also were going to a family wedding. Weather was execellent. Sunny and in mid 80's but humidity was not bad.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week trip to Disney because we didn't want to break the bank staying on Disney property. This place looks great in the pictures, but they are incredibly deceiving. Our first nuisance was realizing the gate into the property was an "emergency exit." In order to access the actual entrance, you have to go all the way around another road. When we checked in, we are given all the crazy rules and extras. Not once during booking (and we booked directly through resort) did they mention the cleaning fee or extra costs for toiletries etc. If you want any cleaning services, it was an additional $85 plus tax. Another pain point, was the noise! We were in a unit right next to the road. The master faced the main road and it was soooo loud all day and night. Then the other bedroom faced the parking lot. It was close to the entrance so that was also incredibly noisy. We tried to call to get a different room but we kept waiting on hold so we just gave up. We also had issues with the hot tub. It was absolutely filthy on arrival and the jets were not working. We called and they sent someone over who just unplugged the control panel and said we would just need to plug it back in to use it but it would take a while to warm up. That was all very strange. The next day, the temperature was going to drop into upper 40s (very cold for florida!) And we needed heat. The thermostat would not go above 61 degrees. We called and they sent someone over an hour later. He was able to fix it, it was locked. We also told the gentleman about the hot tub and he did send someone over to fix it and clean it. However, there were random people there cleaning it everyday the rest of the trip. So there was constantly a random person in our yard and I feel like we couldn't have privacy or go out there as much as we wanted. I would also like to add that there was a coffee pot, but no filters. Maybe they should just put Keurigs in all the units like most 4 star hotels! Also no toaster. Very little kitchen items actually. The beds were very uncomfortable, although my boyfriend didn't think they were the worst. The bedrooms were a decent size, all with an ensuite. All the furniture had slip covers, which seemed tacky and strange. Furniture seemed cheap and worn. Sorry for this extremely long review! But I wanted to give an accurate description of our feelings of the place. Definitely would not stay here again!

We are just back from a 2 week stay at Magic Village. We had a 2 story, 3 bedroom house and we were very impressed by the space and the facilities. The bedrooms are large and each one had a good sized en-suite. (There were 2 superking bedrooms and the third room had 2 single beds) Beds were very comfortable and there was lots of storage space. Plenty of towels and a hairdryer in each room. The downstairs space is open plan with 2 seating areas and a well equipped kitchen and breakfast bar seating. There was also a toilet and utility room. The back wall has 2 sets of patio doors leading to a terrace with large BBQ, table and chairs and comfortable seating. There is also an upstairs balcony at the back of the property accessed from the master bedroom with 2 loungers and a small balcony from the second bedroom facing the front. The house was clean and there was plenty of hot water. It also has air conditioning. This was a bit noisy, but in my experience, AC is never that quiet. The only thing that could be improved were some I the cushions on the white sofas. These has a few stains where people had dropped drinks, etc. You could tell they had been cleaned but it looks like permanent marks, so new darker covers might be a good idea. The complex offers a cleaning service (at a charge) for anyone who wants cleans during their stay. There is a cleaning charge made when you leave. This was mentioned during the booking process so wasn’t a surprise. It was approx £135. I have stayed in many apartments in various countries and cleaning fees are the norm these days. I thought it was reasonable for the size of the accommodation. There are a few cleaning and toiletries items provided when you arrive and you can purchase extra ones of these if you wish during your stay. Alternatively you can go to Walmart and buy loo rolls for much cheaper! A security deposit is charged to your credit card but this is refunded when you leave. There is a restaurant on site, but we didn’t eat there. It’s Italian based food and had quite a good menu and seemed to be well used by others. The pool area is lovely and the pool water and jacuzzi were heated. There are plenty of seats and loungers if you’d rather just sit and relax. Being February, neither the pool or seating were busy. Our house was a “resort view” one which meant it was not overlooking the pool or lake and was slightly further from the reception. It faced some other houses and had woodland at the back, but it was quiet and you could walk to the pool in a couple of minutes. The overall location of the complex is good. Close to Animal Kingdom and handy for all the other parks. There were plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and shops a few minutes drive away. I would recommend having a car for the flexibility. (Each house has 2 parking spaces) I didn’t have much interaction with the staff, but those I did speak to were very pleasant and helpful. We would definitely go back here if we visited Florida again.

"Bed bugs!!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed February 22, 2020
Unit we were given on our recent visit had live bed bugs crawling on the bed on the lower bedroom, which ruined our weekend getaway. While we were given a second unit right away, the washer in the second unit did not cycle properly. We spent half the night, and some of the next day trying to wash our clothes so that we would not bring bed bugs back home with us. Other noted items included dirty carpets, cigarette butts on the main balcony, dirty diaper in one of the closets.
