We got forced to stay here at this sister hotel of the Summit Resort after they "overbooked". The outside of the hotel seemed really pretty and we tried to make the best of the situation. We got in our room and it smelled like grandmas house and was basically a dorm room. The grout in the bathroom was breaking, the sheets were dirty, and the view was of a crack house. We ended up just sleeping on top of the sheets as they were obviously not clean. You would think if you were putting guests out and having to redirect them to another hotel, you would make sure the room was perfect. Clean, nice view, etc. But, it appears this company isn't into guest services; very short sided on their part. We wouldn't even give this place a second chance. There are many other accommodations in the area that would appreciate our buisness. Don't waste your time or money here.

If you stay here, make sure you take advantage of all the amenities such as exercise classes, heated pool, tennis courts, spa, sauna, family golf, playground, huge weight and exercise room, etc. We stayed here only one night but wish we’d stayed longer. Our room L-153 was spacious. There were two bedrooms with two bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, eating area, two patio areas, an outdoor shower, fireplace, outside deck with a gas grill and Wi-Fi. It was perfect for my family. The negatives were that the room was hard to find in the dark. The building letters were not lit up. Also, unit #L-153 was up a few steps and around the corner. It was not easy to find. We had to get out and search for it. Once inside the unit, we noticed the tubs were jacuzzi brand and very high. My mom decided not to take a bath or shower bc there were no grab bars and she didn’t want to risk falling. Tlaquepaque pronounced “to-lock-a-pocket” is very cool. It’s the area near the resort with restaurants and shopping. Like the town square. Pay attention to all of the trees in the area. They built all the structures around the sycamore trees. So you will see them growing out of roofs and all which-ways. It’s pretty cool.

We stayed for a weekend with our kids in a one bedroom suite. It was clean and everything was at your door upon your request. Very close to the restaurants and amenities including the local souvenir shoppings. The gym was clean. The pool was open with a relaxing hot tub. I will come back there next time.

Los Abrigados Resort and Spa I am still awaiting my promised call from the manager and told the front desk that we would not buy at our presentation if he didn't call beforehand. He did not... and, although we liked it, we did not buy! This is a Diamond Inlt timeshare; so be ready for lots of endless solicitations. Some of what we were told proved not to be factual. The condos are okay, but they charge a $30 daily resort fee, and while we were there, the pools were not useable. I asked the front desk to reverse it, and the manager never responded to my request... no way to run a rodeo! The best thing is the Happy Hour at Spokes and Wheels, and you don't need to be staying there to enjoy that. If you want to be close to Telaquepaque, you can't get any closer!

    "Disappointed in our room"

Our room had not been updated in years. The furniture was old, carpet was dirty and appliances worn. There was a distinct smell to the room noticeable each time we came in. I did address this with the front desk. Their response was that ionizers were available. This makes me think that they were well aware of the problem and putting a bandaid on the solution was okay. They did not seem surprised at my comments. I was told renovations were planned. The building next to ours did have workman there daily. The grounds were lovely but having a room of that quality was disappointing for the price we paid.
