"Above and Beyond Service!"

We had a lovely stay at the Sawyer Kimpton. The rooftop at Revival is always a fun experience; the staff is courteous and helpful, and the rooms are great. During this trip, my husband accidentally left his shaving cream and razor behind. A staff member named Omar was kind enough to send these items to our home. It was very thoughtful of him to cover the shipping costs. We truly appreciated their efforts!

Lovely hotel with some great staff - but a shame about.....the housekeeping! Let's start with the good: Great reception staff! Great pool/bar! Fabulous room - airy, loads of room and a great view! The gym was great too! The not so good - well - there was no housekeeping visit for two days - reception did their best but they could be roused :-( they were simply AWOL! Other than that I can't fault it!

The Kimpton Sawyer Hotel in downtown Sacramento is outstanding in multiple ways. First, it is in DoCo, right next to the Golden1 arena, so it is a great place to stay for a concert. The rooms are excellent, and the pool is great, Lisa of shady areas to sit or lie down. All that said, it is the staff that make this such an outstanding hotel. The manager here's us on entry, and was extremely gracious, including free beer! The woman who checked us in was very professional. The wait staff at the pool could not have been more attentive and courteous. This will be our go to hotel for Sacramento. I can't recommend it highly enough!

The hotel staff is excellent and friendly! The amenities on property are fantastic from the rooftop pool to the fitness center and the restaurants and bars are great as well. The location is amazing, so many things to do within walking distance. I love my stays at the Kimpton!

"The best in Sacramento!"

Why it's taken me so long to write this review is beyond me - because we've been staying at the Kimpton Sawyer for a few years now, and every time we do, we love it more and more. First, check-in is a breeze, the staff is always so courteous and happy (and patient...b/c I've seen some real a**holes speaking at (not with or to) the front desk and they are always so gracious). The lobby is beautiful, and if you're lucky, you get to stay in one of the corner rooms with floor to ceiling windows. Beds are amazing (SO COMFY), and the bathrooms are lovely (love the wallpaper, products, EVERYTHING). Robes, if you want them, live in the closet and they are super plush - don't skip out on those! Lots of different places nearby to eat/drink/get coffee, and if you're lucky, you get to have happy hour with your dog in the lobby of the hotel. Why bother staying at another hotel when you can just roll up to the Kimpton, park below, and relax at the best hotel in Sacramento?
