Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky, offers an action-packed experience with over 70 rides, attractions, and a massive water park. Thrill-seekers can take on heart-pounding roller coasters like Lightning Run and Storm Chaser, while families can enjoy classic rides and interactive play areas. Floral Frenzy
May 24–June 29
A spring festival that celebrates the transition from spring to summer with a larger-than-life Mosaiculture display, six live flower walls, live music and special events.

Bluegrass & Booms
July 3—5
A Fourth of July weekend festival with a BOOM! Soar, splash, and kick off Independence Day weekend with daily fireworks, live music, and unique food at the ultimate birthday bash.

Pumpkins at Kentucky Kingdom
Friday through Sunday, September 26–October 26
A family-friendly fall festival with autumn-themed attractions, colorful characters, trick-or-treating, and over 1,000 bright orange pumpkins aglow. Water rides and other select attractions may be closed during Pumpkins at Kentucky Kingdom.

Christmas at Kentucky Kingdom
Select Dates, November 22–January 3, 2026
Immerse in holiday magic with over 1.5 million twinkling lights, 300 Christmas trees, and festive decorations throughout the park. Enjoy the thrill of Kentucky's largest snow tubing hill, racing down a 175-foot slope covered in real snow. Meet Santa's most famous reindeer and more!

We absolutely loved our trip to Kentucky Kingdom. Everything was so beautifully decorated around Christmas and many photo options. We had our 4 year old son with us and he was able to ride most of the rides. We highly recommend it and will be back!

If you want a day filled with fun for the whole family, you've found it here! Nice water park, lots of smaller rides for younger children as well! The roller coasters are decent. The raging rapid ride could use some more water features, but I still really enjoyed that! One of the best things I can comment on is the food, best amusement park food ever!

I was taking my 4 kids to Kentucky Kingdom and I’m on a budget so the tickets were pretty high. I started googling coupons and ended up finding tripster. I was nervous at first because I thought it was a scam, but I saw some good reviews and gave it a chance. I literally saved $10 per ticket and an overall $50 through tripster. I received my tickets immediately via email. Definitely will be using this from now on when I’m trying to purchases tickets! My kids and I had a blast at Kentucky Kingdom. We rode several rides and all the water rides. Looking forward to going back next year.

The water park was really huge and a great experience for all ages! I would recommend on purchasing one of their Kentucky kingdom cups for a refill for a dollar for each fill up!

Tip: I would recommend one day for water park and a separate day for the park! It was such a nice place to take my two grandsons and some of their friends!
