"Outstanding experience - great staff"

At first glance this just like any other Hilton Garden Inn… consistent and efficient. But the staff at this hotel stands out as more engaged, friendly, and helpful than expected at this level. The way they interact with guests is what you would expect at a four seasons. Rather they hire well, or train well. Every interaction with every person who works here was outstanding.

"Interesting stay."

May 16, 2025, reservations made with front desk, discussed trailer parking, no issues. Mid July calls made to discuss cancelation policy, as weather a big issue for roadster show car for show event, granted a 72-hour cancelation which was lovely. Arrived 7/29 to find an unknown policy change of no trailers allowed. Thank goodness the car show did have their trailer lot ready. 7/30 came down at 7AM for coffee not available at the coffee station, other guests were waiting. Room in general clean. Air conditioner, the typical below window type, needs to be quieter. . Need more hooks for used towels. Needs a silent close toilet seat. The open door for clothes storage is hard to use. Kim the front desk person, was awesome, as were many staff we encountered. During this hectic weekend of a large local event, one elevator was working, and it closed very fast, banging on a wheelchair person, so seemingly no sensors. I found it interesting how the bottle of lotion was anchored to the wall sitting on the bathroom countertop, how to clean under it?

Ended up staying here at the end of vacation due to having a free airport shuttle. Lucky to find a room during to the huge car show! Kennedi was awesome! She went above and beyond with excellent customer service! The entire team was awesome. Appreciate shuttle staff. James was great. The morning driver was great as well. Went from being security to shuttle driver without missing a beat! Would recommend this to others needing a nice room close to the airport, Kentucky Kingdom and more. We were not disappointed.

"Recognizing a Great Hotel for its Welcoming Service!"

Even though I have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Airport many times, I have not written a review before. I believe it is time for me to pay back and recognize their great service. The staff is always welcoming, from the front desk (Kim, in particular), the restaurant, the airport shuttle, everyone is attentive to your needs always demonstrating a willingness to help and assist in any way possible. There are many Hilton choices around the Louisville airport, Churchill Downs, and the University of Louisville Belknap campus, but the Hilton Garden Inn Louisville Airport is by far the best one, and now they are finishing the remodeling which is fantastic.
