"Another great stay at The Inn at Laurel Point"

We just spent a night at our favorite hotel in Victoria, BC, The Laurel Point Inn. It was a short but extremely sweet stay, and although we haven’t visited in several years it was a timely reminder of just how good it is to stay at such a lovely hotel with impeccable service. Special thanks to the front of house staff, Itsuki, Joval and Marc who were exceptional. I would also give a 5 star shout out to the superb little coffee shop just inside the front doors of the Inn. Great coffee and service and if you are out for a walk you can’t go wrong by popping in for coffee and refreshments.

The hotel is very spacious and beautiful. We also enjoyed a beautiful view of the outer harbour from our room. The service throughout the hotel was caring and attentive. The bar closes fairly early, 9:30 PM, but the drinks and service were very good. Breakfast service was also outstanding.

"Lovely stay"

Had a 4-night stay. This was our 3rd or 4th time in the past 6 or 7 years. Had a lovely room with a soaker tub. We had our dog (8lb), and he was provided with a massive bed to sleep/nap on, dog biscotti and 2 huge bowls for his food and drink. Nice view of the harbour. Ordered room service for supper the first night (Fri), as the restaurant Aura was booked up and we were unable to get a seating an hour prior. Had two other suppers at Aura. The food was spectacular. I had for my entrees over 3 nights: scallop linguine, lamb shank and gnocchi. My spouse who is not very adventurous had the chicken burger twice and hamburger once. I only had dessert the last night and had pavlova. The breakfast sandwich and croissant (so flaky) was great at the Cafe. We liked that there were tables and chairs outside of the cafe, so that our dog could be with us, instead of having to eat in our room. Shout-out to staff Mark and Dorothy who provided great friendly service. We have an EV vehicle, there were numerous chargers to use, with extras at the valet level if the other chargers were full. Lobby has iced cold water available. Nice walkway along the harbour outside of the hotel

"Came for five days and it was so nice we stayed for ten"

This is a lovely hotel. The rooms are clean, attractive and comfortable. The beds are good. Views are spectacular. We loved sitting in our window watching the sea planes and ferries go in and out and there’s great people and dog watching. This is a very dog friendly hotel. The dog fee is fair. We had our poodle with us. This meant room service. The room service menu is good and the food is delicious. The restaurant, Aura, is justifiably popular. We enjoyed every meal we had and we are fussy. There’s also a terrific coffee shop in the lobby where the pastries are fabulous and the coffee perfect. There’s a nice little pool that I used every day. The people who work at the hotel who we encountered were all extremely nice and friendly. Piper and Adam kept us well caffeinated at 6 a.m., Jovel and Mark were so generous with their time and suggestions. Dorothy who delivered our delightfully hot breakfasts and dinners. There was a rather lovely young woman who also delivered many delicious meals. We called her Heidi because she looked like Heidi Gardner from SNL. We thank “Heidi” for her great service too. This was our first little bit of luxury vacationing in a while. We loved every minute of our stay and plan to return. The Christmas stockings on the door on Christmas morning was a nice touch. The art in the halls is really worth looking at. Thank you to everyone at the inn at Laurel Point for great Christmas vacation

This is the third time we have stayed here in the last 6 months, and every time it has been phenomenal. The rooms are always clean and airy, and the staff are exceptional. Both the restaurant and the coffee shop have never disappointed. Whether staying as a couple, a family or on business trip, I would not stay anywhere else in Victoria. Highly recommend.
