"It was okay"

The location was closed to Busch Gardens. But not such a nice neighborhood. The hotel definitely need upgrades compared to other ones. The carpets need to be replaced in the rooms and the mattress is too soft. It was loud in the middle of the night. You would hear kids being loud playing with remote cars in the hallway. The walls are very thin for the value. I think it's not worth it for that prize of $200 a night I expected more the breakfast is basic, not special.

"Hyatt for the Win"

Hyatt was part of the Busch Gardens vacation package I booked late last year. I'm a Hilton Honors member so I will be honest, I came into this a bit anxious. It was the start and longest stay of our trip. However, I was pleasantly suprised. First, online checkin was not ideal and put my family of 5 in a single king with a pull out sofa. When we checked in at almost midnight the front desk receptionist recognized the problem and adjusted our room without me having to ask. The room was impeccably clean, though a touch dated. The complimentary breakfast balances the dated aesthetic of the hotel. There was a plethora of options: fruit, waffles, eggs, etc. We found the staff, the few times we had to speak to them, to be super friendly and accommodating. Check in and check out was very pleasant. Overall, the amenities: free breakfast, pool, and shuttle to/from Busch Gardens (5 to 10 minute ride) makes this a great place for families visiting the local parks.

We were very pleased with our decision to stay at the Hyatt Tampa Bay Busch Gardens. The hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable and spacious, the breakfast options were great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was perfect for what we were looking for.

"not for businessers"

I chose this hotel as a central location for my business purposes. I expected as a frequent Hyatt customer I would receive better service. I was asked how often i would want cleaning service. I told her everyday. My room was cleaned once in a 4 day stay. I also asked for a top floor room and was told no. Again as a statused Hyatt member I assumed they would pay attention to this as this is a heavy vacationed location. After 2 nights of noise from the room above me, I asked again for a top floor room and was again told no without the woman checking to see if it was possible. The staff seems to lack consideration of the loyal customers to the company. This is becoming a growing problem forHyatt. I won't stay here again.

"Below Hyatt Standards Experience"

I am extremely disappointed with my recent stay at this hotel. The service we received was not consistent with the level of quality we have experienced at many other Hyatt properties. As a Globalist member, I certainly did not expect this standard of service. Housekeeping was not completed during our stay, even after I double checked and made an additional request at the front desk. This was very frustrating and unacceptable. Even more concerning was a serious sanitation issue, we found a bug in our bed. I emailed the hotel manager Talia Williams directly regarding these concerns and never received a response. The lack of communication and accountability has made this experience even more frustrating. Overall, this stay did not meet Hyatt standards, and I hope management takes these issues seriously to prevent this from happening to other guests.
