Started with a very cold reception at check-in. Acted immediately like I was somehow an inconvenience. This made more sense when I was slapped with a $70 early check-in charge because I was checking in before 4pm. This is despite them having a virtually empty parking lot and clearly a fair number of rooms available when I arrived. For context, I also indicated that I would be showing up early through the app very early that morning as well. Once I got to the room (that I paid extra to have ready 'early') it seemed half prepared. Random debris on the floor (including a spring from a pen?), stained / dirty towels, couch cushions not fully on the couch. I even had to search for the tv remote as it was on a random window sill instead of in any of the standard places. Wifi was blisteringly slow. Breakfast wasn't fully set at the posted time and the dishes were only half clean. AC took forever to cool the room... From a brand that I usually have nothing but good thing to speak of, this property was a serious let down. It's a shame to see the Hyatt in Page relying on its location to drive business vs. quality customer service.
