Can I leave and re-enter on the same day?
Guests exiting Houston Interactive who plan to return the same business day must have their receipt for valid re-entry. Transferring receipts between third parties is not permitted and is grounds for ejection without refund.
Can I bring my camera?
Yes, lots of great photo opportunities.
What’s included in my ticket/experience?
General admission tickets include several exhibits that you can interact. To get the full experience of the Houston Interactive Aquarium and Animal Preserve, the facility offers activity credits for purchase on site for optional encounters & activities.
Can I bring my own food/beverages?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted in Houston Interactive Aquarium & Animal Preserve but may be consumed in the outside parking lot. Alcoholic beverages and glass containers are not permitted anywhere on Houston Interactive property.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not permitted in Houston Interactive, but service animals are always welcome. Under the ADA, a service animal is defined as a dog that has been individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the person’s disability. Please note that emotional-support therapy, comfort, and companion animals are not considered service animals under the ADA and may not be brought into Houston Interactive. Pets may not be left unattended in the parking lot or your vehicle.
