Hotel Tampa Riverwalk in Tampa, FL

Front desk charges $50 early check in when you don’t check in early. Bathrooms aren’t clean, rooms are noisy!!! If you’re looking for what they call a boutique hotel this is Not it. Book elsewhere!

Arrived in the evening from Europe after having traveled 20 hours. Had a quick dinner at the restaurant and went to bed early. Woke up several times during the night due to traffic noise even if I was on 5th floor. Got up early and went to the gym which was ok. But when I took a shower there was mold in the bathroom. Stayed for 3 nights and had trouble sleeping through the night due to noise. Should have asked for another room but was working and came back late. The neighborhood is a bit boring. The boardwalk a long the river is nice, but not a lot of stores or things to see.

Wonderful Staff and Great Location. We made a multigenerational trip with extended family and lots of kids. We admittedly were a very complicated group with tons of separate reservations. The staff at the hotel was super helpful and went out of their way to make our trip awesome! A special thanks to Larenzo who checked us in and was the first awesome team member to go out of his way to help us. Jose Ezequiel was another star who helped my mom and several of our cousins who were driving in from far away. Andrew was also awesome as was the bellman whos name I dont remember. I travel a lot, stay at a lot of hotels, and the staff here are some of the best I have ever come across. They were super star’s. The housekeeping staff was also great and quite forgiving of our younger kids untidiness. All their great service was even more remarkable given the hotel had a big wedding on Saturday night and was 100% full. They didnt miss a beat and it didnt impact our stay at all. Congrats to the married couple! This hotel, while perhaps not especially marketed as a family hotel, great for family’s with kids. It is really well located, walking distance to Tampa U, the aquarium and the kids museum. Also a Publix within walking distance and of course the river walkway. For adults they have a great pool and outside bar and easy access to all of the river walkway restaurants and bars. Highly Recomended hotel and we will certainly be back! A very big personal Thank You to Lorenzo, Jose Ez, and Andrew for helping me and my family unravel our own complicated web of reservations and packages to make our visit to Tampa a total success. Always with similes and real kindness. I hope to be able to return the favor to you all in Costa Rica in the future!.
