Enjoyed our stay. Great customer service. My only concern was that I called ahead and asked for an allergy friendly room because the hotel is pet friendly and I am allergic to down feathers. I was told Notes were placed in my account but my room had feather pillows when I arrived. Front desk had housekeeping come quickly and remedy that with new pillows and comforter.

Super nice and friendly place. The beds were not good at all, didn’t get much sleep either night because the beds were so uncomfortable. My back is still sore 3 days later. Traveled all the way from Wisconsin to find out at the counter you hold $150 in damage deposit, a hold that Expedia made no mention of, meaning I had $150 less in spending money on my trip. People need to know those things to plan for a trip. Bacardi-Coke at your bar was $18. Who do you think you are charging $18 for a Bacardi-coke? $16 for breakfast buffet, little insane for a breakfast buffet. Spent a little extra on “magical view” which is really just the parking lot and a faint view of Disney World way off in the distance. Scoped out the arcade, way overpriced. Really cool place but felt like we were being nickel-and-dimed just because it’s close to the parks. I’ll probably keep this place as a backup option at least as it was nicer than many I’ve been too. But for the value I feel like there are other places that offer more bang for the buck.

I had a few issues while staying here but Beatriz Cordoza, one of the managers, she was absolutely fantastic, she listened and cared and made sure that I was happy before ending my vacation. I also want to mention Alexander and Diego from reception, very sweet and caring and did everything that me and my family feel welcome.

"BEWARE OF HIDDEN RESORT FEES"

Booked this for one night as a last minute stay and never again. Place is really horrible, windows are disgusting and it’s clear the rooms have been freshened up to cover up really dated decor. We were charged $25 to check-in early; never been charged to check-in at a hotel before in the US, certainly not a Holiday Inn (I am a IHG member). Room key didn’t work during our one night stay and we were locked out of the smaller swimming pool entrance for 10mins in the blaring heat. No apology from reception staff. No luggage carts available. Was told on checkout that we would receive our invoice by email, never arrived until I questioned charges on my credit card. Turns out they don’t send you an invoice to cover up the fact they charge you $17.50pn resort fee + taxes. This wasn’t mentioned when booking, at check-in or at checkout. No idea what the resort fee covers, certainly not window cleaning or luggage carts! Absolutely give this hovel a miss but if you do stay, be aware of hidden resort fees and don’t leave without your invoice receipt!!
