Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Kodak East-Sevierville, an IHG Hotel in Kodak , TN

Did not enjoy the interstate traffic noise. Shower was great with tiny bench. Disliked that it didn’t have enough restaurants around it. Would have liked to be able to have a safe place around hotel to walk or walk/jog for at least a 2 mile stretch.

The front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were spacious, clean and up to date. The beds were comfortable. Even the pull-out sofa was very comfortable for my usual hard to please teenager. There were enough clothing space and the room overall was very spacious.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming. The hotel had a great breakfast and the staff went above and beyond. The room was super clean and was well maintained! It was a great stop along the way. Would highly recommend to anyone passing through the area.

My family and I were vacationing in Gatlinburg for the week when my daughter had a sudden gallbladder attack and required an emergency hospital visit which turned into being admitted and an emergency surgery to remove her gallbladder. By the time the surgery was able to be scheduled and performed, our Gatlinburg cabin reservation was over and my husband and son took our second vehicle and returned home. On Sunday evening, the day of the surgery, the hospital discharged my daughter, but rather than drive the 5 hours home in the dark and rain, we opted to check into a hotel for the night. We stumbled upon the Holiday Inn Express in Kodak and booked our stay there, and I’m am truly blessed that we happened upon this hotel! As you can imagine, I was exhausted, emotionally and physically spent, spent several sleepless nights at my daughter’s bedside in the hospital, and I had not showered for about 48 hours. We checked into Holiday Express and another guest had rammed her luggage cart into the elevator door and got it stuck. My daughter was in extreme pain from her surgery, so even though the desk clerk had this elevator emergency to deal with, he exchanged my third floor room for a first floor room so that we could get settled and rest while he dealt with the elevator issue! He was so kind and gracious! Our room was sparkling clean, the beds were super comfortable and the room was just so cozy and inviting and most importantly, comfortable. I was able to get a hot shower, and it was probably the best shower I’ve had! We climbed into bed and rested very comfortable all night! Very quiet and just so peaceful there! The next morning, we headed to the lobby for the breakfast and wow!! I’ve had breakfast at hotels before; however, this one was exceptional! Many options to choose from and all very tasty!! We were very pleased with our stay at Holiday Inn Express and I would highly recommend them to everyone!! Super sweet staff as well! All very friendly and accommodating!

Super clean room with friendly front desk staff. There was a brief malfunction with the elevator but, it was resolved quickly. The breakfast was pretty good too. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to the Sevierville/ Gatlinburg area.
