I definitely would not stay here or advise anyone else to. The people at the front desk were very nice. I stayed there with my two young daughters one that is nonverbal autistic. While we were there I was woken up several times two people standing out in front of the bedroom window talking loudly to people sitting in their vehicle down in the parking lot. But the real trouble happens when it was time to go. Early Thursday morning before check out I called up front and spoke with Miss Lori who gave us permission for late check out because we were Diamond Elite members. I work as a protection agent and travel Monday through Friday weekly and I usually stay at ihd hotels. I've never ever had a problem! But after we left my bank notified me that there was a charge from the hotel for $250. This is after I had already paid $1,000 for a four night stay. I called the front desk and they told me first that it was a $250 charge for damages. I told the man there was nothing damaged and I have took pictures of the room before we left. They need changed and said well it was for excessive cleaning. He proceeded to send me five pictures. One was of a messy stove top, one of a stainless steel pan that look like it had a stain in the bottom of it but also some white chemical stuff sprayed on top. Another was of the big bathtub that we had put all of our Linen in so it would not make the floor wet. I told him that is not excessive and not worth any extra charge. What happened was the cleaning people had blocked the front door that morning and my little girl when she opened the door to go get the cart tripped and scraped her knee. I complained about it. I feel like this is retaliation and nothing else. I've contacted the hotel and the man that I talked to said that I was not getting my money back. I told him I will contact my bank and if need be I will contact an attorney as well. For me, this is about principle. Dishonest and Shady business practices! People come from out of state and they think you're helpless so they do what they want to do regardless of who or how it affects you. The hotel is run down, I say hotel because this is in no way any kind of resort other than a golf course. They have low ratings already as it is, and I see that it is common for them to charge people unreasonable fees once they check out. This hotel is known for this. Has a Marine Corps vet, I have served this country and I shall honor and respect to everyone everywhere I go. Yes the place was not 100% clean when we left. But it was not unreasonably dirty, either. You go to stay at a place to relax not to housekeep. We took all the trash out and used the dishwasher. The only thing we left out was a spatula that my daughter's used to make eggs and bacon for breakfast. I feel like the cleaning person set this up either because I moved their stuff out of our doorway or because I complained about my daughter tripping over it. I have pictures of how the place looked when we left.

I absolutely love this resort. We booked a 2 night-stay at this resort at a great price offered by IHG Rewards. Also, the best part was it was off-peak season in Branson area so it wasn't busy at all. It's a huge golf course resort so it can be a bit of a drive to get to your building and the map given took some time to figure out since there's no straight or flat roads in the greater Branson area. I'm giving it 4 stars only because we were placed at the very farthest building from the registration office. The pool building is also separate & next door to the registration/visitor information desk. I would've rated this a 5 stars if only we had a room that's close to the pool building & registration office/visitor information in case of an emergency. To get ready to go to the pool and have a bag and drive a distance to go swimming..I wouldn't call it convenient. Also, I have a brand new car, I would not want a swimming pool chemical/wet towel stench in my car. Since it wasn't a busy time yet. It would've been much more appreciated to be able to be close to the entrance/pool/office desk to have some walking distance convenience.

This is AWFUL - avoid this place. The rooms are nothing like the photos. We are on the bottle level of an apartment type thing, no elevator, concrete retaining wall in front of the window, tiny kitchen, no washer/dryer, very small living room, no fireplace, nothing is as advertised. The room holds 6 but we are packed in line sardines. Incredibly disappointed to have driven 9 hours for this. The pool, arcade, etc are about 2 miles from our unit so there’s no walking over to it, we have to get in the vehicle and drive up there. Absolutely false advertising I wish we could leave, but we already spent our money here (booked well in advance) and it’s spring break so unlikely we will find anything else.
