"Very disappointed. Will NOT return."

Booked a condo 9 months ahead of time. Requested a certain unit that we had stayed in before. I understood that the unit request was not guaranteed, but when I was 1 week from going, I called and they said they had assigned units and they had assigned me the one I requested. I was excited! 3 days prior, I called back to make sure I heard them right and they confirmed that I was definitely assigned the unit I requested. When I arrived, they had given my unit to someone else and gave me a unit that 1/2 the size and not nearly as nice. It was basically an average hotel room, which is not what the unit category I had reserved or paid for. The manager was supposed to call me but never did. No one cared and I was not valued as a customer. The front office staff acknowledged thata new employee must have given my unit away, but no one cared to help fix the bad situation. The unit I was given had a worn out mattress and a teensy vanity in the bathroom and the bedroom was so small that I had to keep the luggage/clothes in the living room. I am very disappointed in how I was treated as a customer and will not return.

We stayed at Holiday Hills for the 2nd time. The room was clean and comfortable. We love having a living room to relax in after a day out exploring. So much nicer than a regular hotel room. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. The only complaint I have is the shower. You have to climb over into the garden tub to take a shower and as a short person that can be hard to navigate. We enjoyed our week and would stay there again.

"Quiet part of town"

The room was overall nice. Seemed to be clean and well equipped. It was a two bedroom and I was hoping the unit had a washer dryer but it didn’t. The bed wasn’t too comfortable… the bedding was fine but the bed creaked and croaked with the slightest movement. Hard to sleep when your partner moves around. They also sent us to the wrong building at checkin… took us awhile to find the correct building and room. We love the indoor pool and hot tub. We didn’t play golf on this trip but it’s a nice little course.

"Stay to Play- Softball Experience"

Softball Stay to Play Experience- I’ll be honest the stay to play travel ball deal is my biggest pet peeve. I’m a hotel snob for sure and like the places I like but this one was on the list. I’ll be honest I was a little anxious after reading reviews, but this spot exceed our expectations and I will make this my stay to play hotel if I ever return to Branson for softball. Pros- quiet, clean and our space had 2 bathrooms… with teen daughters that’s huge! We didn’t use the kitchen other than the fridge but it was well equipped if we had been here longer. There was ample space and a cute outdoor table on the patio. Check in was smooth and easy. Cons- stairs to get to rooms, the second room had its own outside door with an adjoining door into the living room. If I had smaller children that would make me nervous. There were a few “stains” on the top cover so we just traded them out and it was fine. The main bedroom had a jacuzzi tub with mirrors all around it so….not really comfortable with that.

We have stayed at Holiday Hills many times. At least 7. I really do like the places. They've always treated us with respect. Except for this time. I always call in advance to ask for a first floor unit, and a stand alone shower. I have mobility issues, and a huge fear of heights. I also this time ask if possible could we stay in the same unit as last time. That's when that attitude began. They asked if we were owners. Since we've always use AFVC for our stays, so we're not actually owners. Then I was told we couldnt have been in that unit, its for owners . How would I have know the building number and unit number if we hadn't been in that unit. So when we arrived the young man at the desk pretty much had the same attitude stating that the front desk never promises a certain room.when i asked if we were on the first floor. Then he states how lucky we got because they put us on the first floor. In the building they put us in I couldnt have stayed in it if we weren't on the first floor, because the don't have an elevator, only steps. Thankfully we had a good trip after dealing with the front desk. I know I may being petty, but when you've stayed at he same place and always had such a great experience with the whole resort.
