"Unexpected Amenity Fee Detracts from an Otherwise Enjoyable Stay"

I would rate our seven-day stay at 3.5 stars. The low score primarily stems from the unexpected and unwarranted $30 per day amenity fee, which I take full responsibility for not noticing in the fine print before booking. The service staff was wonderful and accommodating, and the location of the property couldn’t have been better. It’s less than a mile from Walmart, shopping centers, and restaurants. Check-in was easy, and the building itself was well-lit and welcoming. However, when I booked the seven-day stay, I was unaware of the $30 per day amenity fee. We stayed in a newly renovated one-bedroom unit, and I have no complaints about the accommodations themselves. The only issue is that, combined with the rate we paid plus the $30 fee, we felt it was overpriced. Our unit was nice, but it lacked a porch where we could sit outside and enjoy the view of the golf course from the second floor. Additionally, the room was not cleaned daily by the maid service or staff throughout our entire stay, except for the day we checked out. We did not swim (it was too cold), did not eat on the property, and essentially did nothing other than sleep. While the property offers a decent golf course, it’s open to the public, which makes the amenity fee even harder to justify. I would have preferred a higher room rate that includes the extra $30 rather than being misled by the "amenity fee," which felt more like a bait-and-switch.

"Theives, Fraud, Double Charges"

I booked a stay for this property for 5 nights for 3 adults and 4 kids. A $200 security deposit was required so we gave them our credit card. The transaction approved with no issues. We went to our room to begin our vacation and were delighted with the accommodations UNTIL we discovered we had prepaid for the booking and were then charged a second time upon check in for over $1100 for a room we had already paid $863. The property originally offered dining vouchers for the trouble. Ultimately we settled on a $400 gift card that had to be purchased at Walgreens. I was told the charge was an error and had been refunded. We checked in a week ago and still have NO REFUND. The bank has no record of the refund and hotel is less than helpful in getting this resolved. We have been home now for 3 days and I am still trying to collect our funds. We travel to Disney once a year and make several smaller trips throughout and have NEVET had a problem. Do not stay here unless you wish to be the victim of theft.

260 dollar amenity fee per week paid upon check in. for this fee we got a parking pass and garbage internet that kept dropping devices every 10 to 15 minutes for this 260 bucks! the motel 6 has better internet.

"Solid Option"

Huge resort complex, much larger than the pictures and write-up led us to believe. The pool options were not near our suite. Cleanliness was mediocre, not horrible, but not wow this is awesome, definitely lacking in the attention to detail. It was easy to drive to from the parks. Driving in sure gives you a sense of how large the place is. "at the 5th stop sign turn right for check-in". Holy Crap 5 stop signs! (with speedbumps galore) We were in building 13, there had to be 24 building complexes. So you may need to walk a long way to the pools. A few days in, we're more acclimatized to which way we should enter and exit compared to what the GPS recommended. The suite was quiet. I don't think we heard anyone beside us or above & below. We're a family of 5. all grown adults spending a week in a 2 bedroom unit with a pull-out couch. It fit us fine for our needs. You're gone all day walking and just want to crash when you're back from 20,000 steps in the park

This was a great hotel for my family. Close to Orlando, Disney, and Tampa. The room was clean and recently remodeled. A basic kitchen, laundry and living area, then one bedroom with 2 beds and a bath on one side and the "primary" bedroom adn bathroom on the other side. We had a screened in balcony as well. It was a great stay
