Hotel located very close by Lehigh Valley Airport, Allentown area, and Lehigh Valley mall. Very close to shopping area,restaurants. Has very nice rooms and parking area, staff was excellent. Very nice place to stay with family and pet friendly.

Stayed one night and had a nice stay, but the property could use some TLC. The hallway carpets were in dire need of a deep cleaning, and the room-though clean was in need of some minor upkeep. The shower caulking was coming loose, and the furniture had seen better days. Although located next to a Red Robbin, I decided to eat at the hotel’s restaurant. A great choice, Crystal was my waitress and she was very friendly and provided great service. Ironically I had the burger, which was awesome! I highly recommend eating here, and the breakfast the next morning was excellent as well.

I wish there was a way to do half stars, because this is a 4.5 for me. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament. Location was good. Close to many food options and a nicely shaded parking lot. Interior was nice-normal Hilton Garden Inn. Staff were very friendly. The main problem I had was not being able to use the pool or hot tub, which was of the reasons we chose this hotel. It’s typically a must-have when we travel. It is open 5AM-11PM per the posted hours. The pool was swarming with little kids until late Saturday night, which was fine. Our Sunday games weren’t until afternoon, so we decided to go visit the pool and soak in the hot tub Sunday morning. We went after breakfast, around 9 AM, and upon entering, a man explained that they were changing water and treating after the weekend and wouldn’t open until around 11. Obviously, this was a major disappointment, and one that could easily be avoided. Why not treat the pool after typical checkout time? Someone staying Saturday into Sunday should be able to use the major amenities the morning they are there. Or, signage of an anticipated shutdown on Saturday night would have made me brave the children so as not to miss out. Otherwise, the hotel was fine.

A fire alarm set it up so we were kicked out for a few hours. They should have done something to apologize for that…..a free breakfast….something for the inconvenience. We paid for the off menu breakfast……mistake. Food was sad. Poached eggs served in a bowl with water…eggs barely cooked. Coffee cup not clean. Service was ‘ meh’ the first two days….deteriorated on the third with mistakes by the waitress causing a long wait for our order to come out. We should have just gone to the Red Robin or the Waffle House which are both next door. Room was fine. And front desk staff were nice.

We are Hilton Diamond members and stay almost exclusively at Hilton properties for business and personal travel. Without a doubt, this is the worst customer service I have ever received! When we checked in, there was an error in our reservation, and we asked if the hotel could assist us in correcting it. Since it was booked by a third party, they could not help. We asked for water, and were told it was in the room. As a Diamond member we are typically offered water at check in, which we were not. The water in the room had a tag with a fee for each bottle. It said Diamond members could drink the water free of charge. I called the front desk and asked why, as a Diamond member, I was not offered water when we checked in. I was told since the hotel was booked by a third party they would not honor my Diamond status. The hotel room was prepaid. When we checked out, I asked for a receipt. I was told I could not have one due to the third party booking. They took a credit card when we checked in, and based on the extremely poor customer service, I was concerned I might be charged for items I did not purchase. The next day, I had a $105 charge on my credit card. I called the hotel and again asked for a receipt, and was told the same as when we choked out - they could not give me a receipt since the room was booked by a third party. I called the third party and they called the hotel. They were informed we were charged $70 for a pet fee (we had no pet) and $35 for breakfast (which we did not eat since they would not honor our Diamond status). Thanks to the third party intervening, the hotel eventually reversed the charge. DO NOT stay here!
