"Maui Hana Sky-Trek Half-Day Tour"
July 2016
This was our first trip to Hawaii and our first ride on a helicopter. My husband and I brought our 14-year-old and 12-year-old boys, and the trip was perfect from start to finish. The helicopter ride was probably the biggest hit, but we had a very enthusiastic driver for the second leg of the tour who pointed out local plants, led us into small caves, took our family photos, and even found a waterfall for our boys to jump off after we told her it was something they really wanted to try -- even the couple with us that we had just met were yelling in excitement when they jumped. Truly memorable experience that we'll cherish forever.

Had a great tour with Aaron on road to Hana. He was a fellow Hoosier native and his 30 years of island knowledge was amazing. It’s a great tour with stops to eat and swim in the ocean. Highly recommended!

"Scenery & Maui Information Galore!"

Our expert driver & guide, Sean, picked us up at our hotel at 7 am in a van that could seat 7 passengers. After picking up another couple, we set off to travel the road to Hana. The scenery was breathtaking & Sean did his best to make sure we were able to take photos, as long as safety allowed. We made some stops along the way for photos or the sharing of facts about nature in Maui. We stopped at Waianapanapa State Park for a swim at the black sand beach, or to just soak in its beauty for an hour or so. In mid morning we stopped at a roadside location to snack on a delicious coffee cake & drinks Sean provided. We ate a tasty & nutritious lunch at Hana Beach under a pavilion with a beautiful view. After lunch we stopped at Hana Tropicals for a brief tour & learned about tropical flowers. Sean was the ultimate host. Throughout our ride he shared little known facts about the history of Hawaii, folklore, nature, celebrity tidbits, & much much more! Through the stories he told & the way he treated people, it was obvious that Sean is an exceptional human being. His kindness & his incredible narration made our trip to Hana a memory that will never fade! After a very full day, we returned to our hotel at 5 pm, right on time. Thank you Temptation Tours! And a very special thank you to Sean - you're one in a million!

My wife and I did the 11:15 - 5 PM tour. This was just a fantastic trip! Quite frankly, our tour guide Scott made this a fantastic trip. Very friendly, personable, good sense of humor, knowledgeable about the island, really coached us well about taking good pictures, and is a great driver. The lunch at the Hana beach was good, the black sand beach and waterfalls were super. The helicopter ride was also good, getting a good view of the south side of the island and micro climates. Would recommend this trip to anyone and please request Scott as your guide!

"Ultimate Tour was Excellent"

Gayle was our driver/guide! She was great in many ways - her knowledge of Hana Road and the area was superb and her driving was amazing on that crazy road. We felt very safe with her. She took great pictures for us if we asked; she always offered to take pics too. The meals/restaurants were entirely different, but both wonderful. The captain's chairs were very comfortable and we had only 6 guests and Gayle. Highly recommend this tour to see the Road to Hana. We were greatly relieved to leave the driving to Gayle!!!!

"Our AWESOME Hana Sky-Trek experience"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

I have to say, this experience is a MUST-DO for those who want to go to Hana. Gayle was our tour guide and she was marvelous. She was very friendly and knowledgeable. She has a lot of experience doing this now for 30+ years! I must say, she made the trip. The van was very nice and clean and extremely comfortable. My son decided to take a nap and enjoyed being in the back of the van so that he could recline the seat into a lay-back position. Gayle was a very safe and efficient driver; getting us to every stop in the right amount of time. She gave us ample time at each of the stops and always made sure that we were on schedule. If you take this tour, I highly recommend taking it with Gayle. The stops included an optional dive into a waterfall lagoon which my wife and son plunged into. Just when you thought that the apparent highlight of the trip (the black sands beach) was over, the Blue Hawaiian helicopter part was just the icing on the cake. Garrut (sorry if I misspelled) was the BEST pilot. In fact, he’s the guy who trains all of the other pilots; so if you can choose, you’d be hard pressed not to ask for him. We lucked out by getting the best tour driver AND the best pilot. So much fun! My son had the best time. Again, I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a “highlights of Hana” tour and does not want to drive for 8 hours and get a BREATHTAKING view from above at the end of the trip. Great job guys! Kudos to the Gayle and Garrut and the entire team. We will definitely be recommending it to our friends and family back home.
