"Great place to stay!"

We stayed one night on February 5th to attend a Celebration of Life in Loveland that night. The staff was fantastic, booking the room and during our stay. The room was beautiful and clean. When we left Friday morning, it was snowing hard. They lent us a snow brush and the manager told us if we found the roads too bad for travel to turn around and come back; they'd have a room for us. Super helpful and friendly. The breakfast was just 'OK', typical of hotel buffets. Aside from that, we highly recommend this hotel. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely book this hotel. A 5* rating in our opinion.

"Unacceptable"

My family booked a room for an OVR volleyball event that my daughter was playing in. The morning of the event, we got locked out of our room after breakfast. The staff determined the battery on the door was dead and needed replaced in order for us to be able to get in. Unfortunately, the staff had no idea how to replace the battery. Over a half hour later/after being locked out of our room, my husband youtubed how to change the battery, told the staff what to get him, and changed the battery for them. Due to the foregoing, we were late to the tournament and my daughter was unable to play her first game. Not to mention the stress we were under trying to figure it out/get into our room knowing we were up against time. As we were waiting outside of our room, another Mom that was staying came out of her room and indicated that they ran into the same issue when checking in at midnight the night before. One of their maintenance guys indicated on the phone that he is the only one that knows how to change them, and he works second shift. Hampton Inn refused to refund us. We booked to make the morning of the tournament less stressful, but instead, it ended up more stressful. Do NOT recommend staying here if you have somewhere you need to be at a certain time and if you do not want to have to figure out their jobs for them.

"Hard to sleep"

On paper and at first glance, this is a pretty standard Hampton Inn, not quite as old (or as new) as some I've stayed in. However, the negatives mean we won't be returning next time we come to visit family. The good: The beds were comfortable, the furniture and rugs weren't too beaten up, and the location's not bad if you're looking for a hotel right off the highway. The bad: 1) The noise. This hotel likely was built in the last 10-15 years, but they built it with exterior wall heat/AC units -- the kind that ALWAYS rattle and wheeze when they run, making it impossible to sleep. As it was 20 degrees Fahrenheit out, we needed heat, so we had to endure the thing loudly chugging all night. It's very difficult to sleep with a loud rattling next to your bed. 2) The washroom door. It's this weird barn door idea on a slider that's about 1.5 inches out from the wall. It either covers the closet or the washroom entrance, so don't try to use both at once or someone gets hit. While you're in the washroom, others can see in through the gaps between the door and the wall. If you want to use it at night, while others are sleeping, bright light comes out the gaps. 3) The breakfast room. Breakfast was pretty standard for a Hampton Inn. However, the breakfast room TV was playing the 700 Club. Some of us just want to eat, not have to explain the current state of U.S. and Ohio politics to our children over breakfast. They have a lot of channels to choose from; I assume this was a conscious choice. Keep that in mind if you're an international traveller like we are.

"HAPPY TO EXIT"

The room and carpet were dirty and in bad repair. Staff when you could find someone were unhelpful and not friendly. When asked for ice for an injured knee the ice machines were not working. We were skipped several times for housekeeping and had to ask for towels and also had to get a remote replaced. Happy to exit.

"Clean, top notch Hampton Inn"

Perhaps the nicest Hampton Inn we've ever stayed in and we've stayed in too many to count up and down the East Coast. We had a suite so the extra room was great for a 4 day stay. Very clean. Well maintained. Friendly staff. Tolkun and Tiffany at the front desk were informative and kind. Lady at breakfast, sorry do not recall her name, did a great job with a very busy sports weekend. Also appreciated there was no tip jar sitting on the counter at breakfast like another location we recently stayed at. Convenient to locations we needed for our stay. Quiet location. Everything was really well done here. I would say this is a "model" location that other Hampton Inn franchises should aspire to be like.
