I deeply regret booking this hotel. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was hit with a foul odor that gave me an immediate headache. I had originally planned to stay for five nights but checked out after just one due to the unbearable conditions. The room was hot, muggy, and reeked of mold. To make matters worse, the bed sheets were literally wet. By the second day, everything in the room was damp from the excess moisture in the air. Despite clear health and comfort concerns, my request to change rooms was denied. A maintenance worker came but didn’t even enter the room... he simply asked if the AC was working. This was an inadequate response to a serious issue. I expected better standards and concern for guest wellbeing. The staff was unprofessional and unhelpful. Communication was poor, and the manager, “Pat,” was especially rude and dismissive. Rather than resolving my concerns, she yelled at me, hung up the phone, and made no effort to assist. To top it all off, I’m now stuck paying for all five nights, even though I only stayed one. This place is unsanitary and poorly managed. Spare yourself the trouble and book somewhere else. I truly hope the money you essentially stole from me goes toward staff training in basic conflict resolution, improving living standards to at least barely habitable, and finally doing something about that horrid smell lingering through the lobby.

Horrible experience with the general manager – Fadi We simply asked to use an empty meeting room to work. Instead of a normal response, the GM caused a scene, forced us to pay, and then started yelling — including inappropriate comments about “not being from this country.” Completely unprofessional, aggressive, and disrespectful. Then we were kicked out of the hotel and literally left on the street. This was during our honeymoon. I’m still trying to get a refund for the stay we never finished. Maria at the front desk stood there with her hands in her pockets, doing nothing to help. Avoid this place. Choose a hotel where guests are treated with basic respect. Not here.

The hotel stole $100 deposit from me, and will not return it. he hotel smells of Indian food. The rooms are not cleaned every daym you have to ask for clean towels. There is no iron jn the room. The freezer in the fridge does not work. The view was of a dirty carpark.

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the condition of my room and the overall experience during my recent stay at your hotel. The state of the room was absolutely unacceptable—dirty, poorly maintained, and far from the standard of cleanliness any guest should expect. Additionally, the complete lack of hot water made my stay even more uncomfortable and inconvenient. To make matters worse, when I attempted to address these issues, I was met with shocking levels of unprofessionalism and disrespect. The manager and the Hispanic front desk agent were not only dismissive of my concerns, but also rude and condescending. Their behavior was disgraceful and a clear reflection of a lack of proper customer service training and basic decency. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and contacting your corporate office to report the appalling conditions and treatment I received. I hope your hotel takes these complaints seriously and takes immediate steps to improve both the quality of your accommodations and the conduct of your staff. Your current standards are unacceptable, and the way I was treated was inexcusable.

If you’re going to Universal this is the place to stay! $5 Ubers to CityWalk. There is a Walgreens right behind the hotel so that was helpful! There was a fantastic Mexican restaurant across the street! We did eat at the rooftop hotel but I have a food allergy and they couldn’t accommodate it. Did not get a chance to try the beautiful Indian restaurant in the lobby. Loved the ice cold water in the lobby, the staff was wonderful. Like I said we were here for Universal but we were also here for pool time. We thought a rooftop pool was cool so that is why we chose this place. The pool was very disappointing. It’s in the middle of a restaurant, no beach chairs just chairs from the restaurant. It was very awkward and the pool was dirty. The pool closed at 6 too. We did go upstairs for a drink after Universal and the views and vibes were great but wish they were two separate spaces.
