"Wonderful stay"

I recently stayed at the Four Seasons Boston and had a wonderful time. The reservations team were the best - nothing was too much trouble. Marcela and the team made sure I was all set up for an amazing stay. The staff on reception were super friendly and helpful - big shout out to Sameed who went above and beyond. Loved my morning coffee(s) from Sottovento, again - staff were fab. The room was lovely and loved the vault too. There was great attention to detail and loved the sugar cookies and lemonade every day. I used the pool area but a large family were having fun so left them to get on with it and used the steam room. The guys on the door were always courteous and helpful if I had any questions/queries. I love Boston and have been many times before - I also hope to go back soon!

"Not Four Seasons Quality"

I'm a big Four Seasons fan. Stay at multiple properties during the course of a year and usually my first choice. This hotel missed on multiple occasions. I even sent two emails to management and have yet to receive a response. First, there is construction taking place in the ground floor restaurant. It's not ideal, so you'll want to check that. And they start early. The second, I was at the hotel when an international sports team was there, and it was a miserable experience. The hotel wasn't able to manage the flow of their own security with hotel guests, causing bottle necks at elevators, rude security staff, and a terrible experience. Trust me when I say that there are other hotels in Boston that are truly five star. This one, is far from it. And take this from someone who travels often - divert to other locations.

Continuing on my “discovering Four Seasons” tour, this was my second stay after Anguilla (which we loved) … The Four Seasons Boston did not disappoint. Location is great close to Newbury St. (for shopping and dining) and beautiful view of The Boston Public Gardens and close to their sister hotel with a world class spa (which we enjoyed). The Welcome was wonderful and hats off to the valet team and in particular to Stephen , who makes you feel like the long lost brother and welcomes you by name and takes care of every need. He is great !… As you enter a very welcoming lobby and then you meet Jeffrey… What a special guy he is and from check in (which is seamless) and then recommendations for shopping, attractions and dining… He is a part of the concierge team who are all wonderful and helped me set up a fantastic stay prior to our arrival. You can tell there is an ethos and way about folks that proudly wear the brand, “customers matter and our job is to serve you in a way that makes you feel welcome and valued” it is special and makes you feel that way… Of course Four Seasons is not inexpensive , but as the old adage says (you get what you pay for)… Four Seasons is worth the price of admission… Room was great , very clean and opted for the one bedroom suite facing the garden. Bathroom is a little smaller then expected but I think that is an urban hotel thing… Restaurant was good food and service was fine… it lacks something that I cannot put my finger one… it feels more like it is unsure if it is a restaurant or lounge or trying to be all things. This would an area to consider looking at and improving. As mentioned we did book a morning spa day at the sister Four Seasons that was an easy Uber ride and the facility is special, massage was great and masseuse was wonderful as was Joya at the front, great at welcoming you in …. Go and enjoy The Four Seasons Boston and you will be glad you did.

"Polished Service and Comfortable Stay, Though Not a Standout Room Experience"

I recently stayed two nights in a deluxe king room at the Four Seasons Hotel Boston while traveling for business. From arrival, the service was excellent and exactly what you would expect from a Four Seasons. The valet and doormen were warm and welcoming, escorting me into the hotel and introducing me to the front desk staff. Check in was quick and efficient, and I was personally escorted to the elevator with a helpful overview of the hotel’s amenities. It was a very polished and professional arrival experience. The room itself was a bit larger than the average city hotel room, which I appreciated, and it was in good condition. While some may consider the hotel slightly dated, I would describe it as having a classic, traditional feel. The room was comfortable and well maintained, even if it didn’t immediately “wow” upon entry. The bathroom was nicely done, and the shower was a highlight with strong water pressure and consistent heat, which is not always a given with modern fixtures. The only real drawback for me was the bed, which felt quite soft with some uneven firmness. It did not ruin the stay, but it was not as comfortable as I would expect at this level. Turndown service was offered on the second night. I arrived later the first evening, so I may have missed it. I also appreciated the snack vault on the floor as a nice added touch. Overall, the service was the standout and truly excellent. The room was comfortable and slightly above average in size, even if it did not quite distinguish itself compared to other high end options in the city. Bottom line: A very well run hotel with exceptional service and a comfortable stay, just short of a true wow experience in the room itself.

We had a wonderful 2 nights at the Four Seasons Boston this past week. The hotel was spotless, staff was efficient, friendly and hospitable and the entire stay was top notch. Very friendly front desk and valet/door team. Location, like always, is the best around. Staff was very helpful with reservations and anything we needed. Looking forward to returning early this summer.
