Located in the Dallas Art District, Fairmont Dallas features on-site dining and rooms with an iPod docking station. Modern décor and neutral colors are showcased in rooms at Fairmont Dallas. Dallas Fairmont has a contemporary fitness center featuring cardio and weight machines, as well as free weights. Guests can also enjoy massage services or take a swim in the outdoor pool on the terrace level. Floral and gift shops are available for purchasing souvenirs.

Pyramid Restaurant & Bar offers fine American dining in an elegant setting. The restaurant features local ingredients, including herbs and vegetables from the hotel’s rooftop garden. A Starbucks and full bar is also available on-site.

"Pleasant, great staff but hotel starting to look tired"

While we had a pleasant stay for 4 nights as a family of four during spring break, the Fairmont Dallas is showing its age and looking worn around the edges. Not what I was expecting from a Fairmont property, having stayed at several. However, all the staff we encountered, valet, front desk, bellhop, etc were exceptionally helpful. I will give this Fairmont credit for correcting an issue we had with our suite and moving us to another room; their handling of the situation was appreciated. The gold level lounge was excellent and perfect to grab coffee and a light breakfast before starting our day. However, if you're looking for a hotel with newer finishes and in better condition, there are probably better options downtown Dallas.

I have stayed at the Fairmont multiple times over the years. This was certainly the low point. Only one of the three elevators in the South tower was working for much of our two night stay. If there are service elevators for housekeeping and room service, they must have been out of order also because we would stop on almost every floor for service staff trying to use the elevators also. The menu in the restaurant was pretentious and the service was lousy. It took three tries to get my sons simple meal order correct. There were not enough outlets in the room, which is unacceptable these days with the number of devices an average person may need to plug in.

My husband and I stayed at Fairmont Dallas for my birthday and WOW. What started as a basic king room turned into a surprise suite upgrade thanks to the best front office manager, Bui. He noticed it was my birthday, upgraded us, and even sent up a card + champagne. 🥂 The suite? Huge. Elegant. That antique, old-money, generational wealth type of luxury. Some may call it “dated” — I call it timeless. Every single person was kind — valet, housekeeping, everyone. Starbucks downstairs was clutch. Being right in the Arts District (literally across from the museum) made it feel cultured and upscale. Only tiny cons of I had to pick: • Food was a little pricey • Restaurants closed around 10 PM (no late-night snacks) • Shower took a minute to get to my “lava hot” preference (my husband said it was perfect 😂) None of that changed the experience. If you want to feel rich, bougie, and spoiled and not have to break the bank— this is your spot. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
