After you check-in to the Zion River’s Edge Adventures facility, you will begin your Zion offroad adventure on a private road up to Zion Lava Ridge Mesa. You will enjoy never-before access and spectacular, up close, panoramic views of rarely seen areas of Zion National Park and the vast and beautiful Virgin River valley. Nothing can prepare you for the breathtaking panoramic views of West Temple, the Canaan Mountains and the towering Smithsonian Butte.

As you continue to journey through the terrains outside Zion National Park, take in the majestic views of West Temple, the highest peak in the park, composed of Navajo Sandstone and standing at a commanding height of 7,810 feet. From here, enjoy a brisk and easy walk to an exclusive picturesque area of Zion Cliffside Point, right on the boundary of Zion National Park. This incredible location has vast views directly into the park where you will embrace the fresh mountain air and enjoy the serene and tranquil existence of Zion!

Finally, your adventure will take you back in time, to the beautifully maintained ghost town of Grafton, last occupied in 1944. This historic Mormon settlement is nestled amidst orchards and farmland, providing peaceful surroundings of the Virgin River and a well-preserved cemetery with headstones dating back as far as the 1860s.
