I am super fussy. I am the guest that takes a black light into a dark hotel room to check for bed bugs and stains. I have been to this hotel several times and other hotels on the property, but I always come back here and am never disappointed. Our room was immaculate as always. I didn't want housekeeping as I do my own cleaning but each time I asked for towels, they came within 5 minutes. Housekeeping took our rubbish away and kept asking us if we needed anything. Everything in the room was in good order. Shower is a bit weedy but I know they turned the pressure down to preserve water. The Murphy bed has sharp corners when it's down, but I was prepared this time and took a pool noodle cut in half and taped it over the corners. We always pay for a Preferred room and ask for Toy Story. I did hear next door's door slam really early several times, but they were just inconsiderate. Otherwise, we weren't disturbed. I don't think the room is thst small. It used to be fine for when we were 3, now we are 2 and a wheelchair, I don't notice much difference. No one is speding huge amounts of time in their room: there is too much to do elsewhere. If one gets up at the crack of dawn( I do the laundry. Super convenient, by the way, but you now need a mobile to scan a Q code to make the machines work. Even a techno-idiot like me got it to work each time), you would see the whole pool area, chairs, tables get power -washed everyday before the pool opens at 10. They have 3 life guards on duty all day until either 9 or 10pm. The shop is one of the best on property I think. The Food court has the refills for the mugs and both fresh and prepackaged food. They have the divine Mickey cinammon buns and half way through our visit, the cream cheese pastries reappeared. The food is edible. Even if you are a vegetarian like me or on low-fat like my companion. There are hundreds of other places to eat if you don't like what's on offer. Pasta is ok, the pizza is very good. We had a large and warmed up the leftovers in the microwave the next day. They have salad, veggie burgers, normal burgers, fish and vegetables. It's basic, but edible. Portion sizes are fine: we actually only buy one and share, so I think they are very generous for one person. Only gripe I have is the coffee creamer is gross. Used to be half and half. I had already decided to take my own milk frother that was microwave safe because my companion has a cholesterol issue. So I bought a small milk carton daily and used the microwave to get nice frothy coffee each time. If you go to the Boardwalk, they have oat milk, half and half and normal milk at the refill stand. No comment!!!!🤣 We had no problems with the buses and hardly had to wait either at the hotel or on the way back. Had help with the luggage twice with very friendly cast members. In fact everyone was unfailingly friendly and cheerful.

We have just stayed here for 9 nights before moving onto universal, and it was our first stay on Disney property. The theming for this hotel is incredible! Things to see and cute photo ops everywhere you look. The rooms and grounds are immaculately clean. There are lots of things going on throughout the day/evening for littles, such as pool games, movie nights, snores making around the campfire, and activities to complete around the hotel, our 9yr old loved it, and entertains the kids while the parents have a well deserved break from the parks. The staff are all amazing, always smiling, taking an interest in you, and it feels like they genuinely care about your life experience. The beds… the BEDS are soooooo comfy! And the pillows are fantastic! Disney transport is good too, although the buses to Disney springs seemed to always be late while we were there. It’s still a great perk to have on property though. Now the food. And the reasons I’ve not given this a 5 star review for the price point, the food (aside from the breakfast offerings) in our opinion was awful. After 1 evening meal here after a long day, we did not eat here again. It’s basic, and tbh, not cooked very well at all. Pasta was hard and dry, veg overcooked and fish dry, but I suppose you don’t stay here for the food, and you can order uber eats etc to the hotel. Everything else was great! And we would definitely stay here again next time we visit!

I stayed at All Star Movies for one night at the start and one night at the end of my trip, which included four nights at in another Disney resort. I’ve stayed at All Star Movies twice before and always had good experiences, but this time I was really disappointed. Both nights the room was freezing, even with the heat turned on. It would be nice if there was an extra blanket in the room. The soundproofing was also quite bad. I could hear chairs being dragged above me and even my next-door neighbour’s phone call. The room looked tired and worn compared to my last visit, with brown marks and scuffed edges. The bathroom partition door was very loud and squeaky, and the sockets by the bed didn’t work. I also found a long black hair in my breakfast overnight oats. I told the cast members and they kindly replaced it, but it still put me off a bit. Overall, both nights were really uncomfortable and not what I expected at all.

"Handy for the parks"

We’ve stayed here twice and over five times in the All Stars hotels. All pretty much the same just slightly different theming. We’ve stayed in Pop and it’s a similar set up but no skyliner here. Handy for the McDonald’s at the end of the road too - the only non Disney food option in the Disney campus. We stayed top floor this time which was quieter as no one above you. Important for us as we were running the Wine and Dine races so were up early and so early to bed! They’ve added filter coffee machines since last time we stayed as it was pretty basic without. Would recommend, basic but if you are at Disney for the parks you aren’t going to be in your room much !

After two weeks here thought I'd say what I thought of the place! Transport to the parks was fab, every time we went to a stop we never waited more than 5 minutes for a bus except after magic kingdom fireworks which took 45 mins to get back to hotel but there were plenty of buses running just A LOT of people going back to the resort Rooms are clean enough - few hairs in the bath when first arrived and dusty shelves but nothing major. Items such as coffee, soap etc sometimes replaced sometimes not. Don't know if it's just our room but even though we turned Aircon off, it still constantly blew cold air into the room which some nights made it a bit too cold. When the neighbours flushed their toilet it could be heard in the room and upstairs stomping but can't be helped. Food court is ok for if you want something quick an easy, food isn't great and by the end of the two weeks you get really bored of it, also 3 times I ordered food and they got it wrong, might be my accent or the fact some nights it's extremely loud in there Pool is good, plenty of clean towels and sun loungers, lots of life guards, can get really busy though Disney shop is good, has the essentials in case you forgot anything and all of the usual Disney stuff. Overall I enjoyed my stay here but probably wouldn't stay again 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
