"Poor Communication"

I participated in the Princess Half Marathon this last weekend and left my race medal in my room (Little Mermaid room). Housekeeping hung my medal up on the mirror one day which was cute but it completely blended in with the shells and decoration on the mirror that I accidentally forgot to grab it when we checked out yesterday. So far it has been impossible to talk to someone at the actual resort about this. I continue to get transferred to a lost and found department which is a complete dead end. It's so frustrating not being able to talk to an actual person at AofA about retrieving this item, especially since their staff were the last ones to handle it. So just be aware that communication with the resort when you are not onsite is next to impossible.

"Very good but the price 2020 is a little bit too high for what you’re getting "

The characters around the hotel plus the pool are what makes it worth it. The rooms are ok (the rug was a little bit dirty), but if you’re traveling with kids this must be your go to hotel! My biggest issue with this hotel is the constant price rise (now a days it’s $200-$300 a night) which is too much for the room you’re actually getting. Anyways I take it as an experience rather than a comfort hotel

"Fun Disney Hotel"

The rooms were a nice size for a family of four (we had a Cars room) and it was nice to have two bathrooms. The large pool was nice, though a bit cold. The grounds were clean. We LOVED the access to the Skyline and the kids loved to ride it. The staff was very nice and friendly. The restaurant was just ok - the food wasn't great and was quite pricey, but I guess this is expected at Disney. Overall, it was a decent place to stay but I do not think it is a good value. At ~$500/night for a room, this seems a bit ridiculous, though I know nothing at Disney is truly a "value".

We have stayed here before, but this time we just took the skyliner and ate. It's resort quick service, passable and pricey, but as expected. That said, pizza was different than it had been...not in a good way. Not sure if that is property wide, or just there, but not a fan.

Where to start? I was truly mesmerised by the detail and imagination used to create such a lovely resort. The magical theme continues throughout the hotel, from the stunning rooms to the pool side facilities. I loved the variation of different Disney movies included within this hotel from Finding Nemo, to The Little Mermaid and even The Lion King. The accommodation was superb, often we would return to our room to find a cute little animal created using clean towels. As both me and my partner do not feel comfortable hiring our own vehicle, it was important that we chose a resort with public transport accessible. Not only is the resort only a 5/10 minute drive from all of the major parks, there is always a coach or bus available take you during the day. The wonderful hotel staff at reception will provide you with all of the relevant information including the bus timetables. However, the only slight issue I found during my stay here was that there were not many options when it comes to dinner time. As the hotel is not all inclusive, meals had to be purchased from the restaurant which I often found was over priced. Other than this, I am unable to fault this beautiful resort. Overall, it was a true pleasure to have visited the Art of Animation Resort. I look forward to visiting again in the future. S.Williams
