Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a family-friendly resort located in Lake Buena Vista's Maingate West neighborhood, close to Disney's Animal Kingdom®, Blizzard Beach, and Disney's Hollywood Studios™. Additional points of interest include Wide World of Sports and Disney's Boardwalk.

Dining options at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge include 3 restaurants. A poolside bar and a bar/lounge are open for drinks. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool, a children's pool, a health club, a sauna, and a steam room. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Business services and tour/ticket assistance are available. Additional property amenities include a coffee shop/café, a concierge desk, and a children's club. This is a smoke-free property.

The guestrooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge feature iPod docking stations and coffee/tea makers. All accommodations have patios. Refrigerators and microwaves are offered. Bathrooms feature complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. In addition to desks and complimentary weekday newspapers, guestrooms offer multi-line phones with voice mail, as well as free local calls (restrictions may apply). Televisions have satellite channels. Rooms also include safes and ceiling fans. Guests may request in-room massages, extra towels/bedding, and wake-up calls. Housekeeping is available daily.

You must present a photo ID when checking in. Your credit card is charged at the time you book. Bed type and smoking preferences are not guaranteed. Your reservation is prepaid and is guaranteed for late arrival. The total charge includes all room charges and taxes, as well as fees for access and booking. Any incidental charges such as phone calls, and room service will be handled directly between you and the property.

Parking: Self-parking is complimentary to guests at Disney Resort Hotels. Valet service is offered at Disney Deluxe and Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts, as well as at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. Upon your arrival, please check with the Security Host for parking options. Valet service is $42 per night (sales tax included).

We just returned from a 5 night stay. We absolutely LOVED this resort! From the accommodations, to the staff, to the animals! Everything was top notch! The resort is stunning!! We have been to numerous deluxe Disney resorts and will definitely be back to stay here!! The front desk staff and housekeeping (mouse keeping ) were so accommodating. Chris at Victoria Falls was a fantastically knowledgeable bartender & the two men tending bar at Kidani pool bar were also fabulous! I don’t remember their names (my memory is terrible) they were on shift 6/2. One was from England if that helps lol! They were so warm & friendly. This resort is truly magical! I cannot say enough positives. Well done on this one Disney!!! Kudos!! ❤️

This resort is unique and absolutely stunning! Savanna view room was exactly what id hope for, many animals to see throughout the day. The food and service are great! This resort offers unique learning experiences which my family really enjoyed. Rooms are spacious and comfy. Easy walkability throughout the resort. Themeing is great, highly recommend!

Stayed here for a week - for the most part we enjoyed our stay. The rooms and resort were clean and well-maintained. Beds were comfortable. Easy to access all the parks and Disney Springs with the buses (although times in the app tended to be inaccurate, buses seemed to turn up 5-10 mins earlier than the app time, and don't wait around). For a deluxe resort there were a few areas of disappointment: - The pool area was really bad, like something out of a bad roadside motel. Really wanted one afternoon of downtime but stayed for about 30 mins and it wasn't remotely relaxing. Beds were super squashed together, no umbrellas, no side tables for drinks etc. Just not nice and really disappointing - The amenities in the room were a bit poor - I was surprised for there to be no water whatsoever, not even a couple of small bottles before bed. We had to go to CVS to stock up on everything. Toiletries in the bathroom are pretty bad quality - Also found the room a bit small, especially by US standards - The resort is quite far away from a lot of the other attractions in WDW. Stopping via Kidani Lodge on the bus all the time was a bit of a pain. Overall we enjoyed it, but think next time we'd try one of the other deluxe resorts that are a bit more centrally located and hopefully have better pools!

Wow! This hotel is just amazing. From the decor to the grounds with all the animals, the children loved every minute of it. Would highly recommend. Drinks a bit pricey in the bar, but that's to be expected. We had the dining plan which was great.
