Love the place but didn't like that we where in a corner room and kids or teens where knocking at the door after midnight. So if you stay don't get a corner room

We stayed here for the recent soccer tournament. Which meant also a lot of time at the property because we were only off the property for the games. I’m not sure why they even state they offer WiFi? It was up and down constantly. I’d connect and soon as Id open an app or do anything it would drop. Contacted front desk to find out if there was a better option and his claim was there were so many people staying there that was the issue. Well I was running speed tests. At 3:30am it was 3.5 mbps? Really? That’s the highest it ever got. It was faster on the Disney bus. Was everyone at the resort up at 3;30 am on the Internet? Thank goodness I didn’t have to write any contracts while I was there. There was fairly decent connection if you wanted to live in the lobby of the hotel. The WiFi connection at Universal resorts and all through their parks was amazing. You’d think Disney could do just as good. Another big big beef I had was not a mistake the resort made but they could have made it right. We discovered a few hours before first game that all but 5 of our soccer players and families possessed a band that allowed them to get on a designated coach bus to ESPN rather than having to wait for the free shuttle that Starts at 7:15 am and comes every 25 min. We spent an hour at front desk trying to straighten it all out. Several had not gotten their bands or their entry cards to the games when they checked in. 5 of us were left to attempt To get on a shuttle with a thousand other people at 7:15 for an 8 am game. In every likelihood causing the players to be late for the game. How crazy is it that you would stay and not have reliable transport to your competitions. I completely fail to understand why Disney didn’t have the power to make this right and at bare minimum provide the players with the bands for access to the coach busses. This ordeal caused a HUGE amount of stress for players and families for no reason. As it turns out the coach drivers couldn’t care less who has a special band and who doesn’t. They let EVERYONE on the bus and got us to ESPN with no question. Though I am a huge rule follower I wasn’t even going to attempt it and was scared everytime I approached I would be questioned as to why I was getting on. I hope Disney quits using sports travel for their partner for some of these events as they charged me for a pass for my son to watch himself play. What the hell! The room was adaquate. Floor looked pretty disgusting sort of like flat outdoor carpet. Looks like it’s probably 20 years old. Beds were comfortable. Not enough designated smoking sections and one person said the front staff told her she had to go to the parking lot. So she’s done that for three days before she found out there were designated spots. I wouldn’t choose to stay here in the future unless the team is required to book here. Given the amount of time spent on property I’d like to have reliable WiFi access especially if you have actual work to do as so many parent do when they travel to these things. Luckily my child choose to get some school work done ahead otherwise he would have been doing it at the hotel between games and that would not be possible. So if you are going for a competition And think you can get work done or homework done between games forget it if you need WiFi access or go set up in the busy lobby.

I'd originally been booked into All Star Music but unfortunately due a miscommunication with my holiday company the hotel hadn't been informed I was arriving two days later than planned so they no longer had room for me. I was told I could stay at All Star Sports but I'd need to ring the holiday company to transfer the booking or pay for a new reservation. It was early evening by this point and as I was walking to All Star Sports I tried to ring the holiday company only to discover their offices were closed for the night and I didn't have enough money to pay for a complete new booking. I'd travelled a long way and was really tired so I entered All Star Sports in tears and the woman I spoke to couldn't have been more helpful and lovely (unfortunately I didn't get her name). She came back with the manager who both informed me if I put down a small deposit for the night they could secure my 8 night booking and then I could call my holiday company when they opened in the morning. The woman who checked me in even gave me a free voucher to get dinner and another for breakfast in the morning then gave me a '1st visit' badge. I had to checkout of the room the next morning and re-check in when my holiday company had sorted everything so I had a day in the parks then returned to find I'd been re-checked in and my luggage had already been sent to my new room. The next day I came back to the room and had a voice mail from the manager on the hotel room phone saying he was glad things were sorted and that if I needed anything else for the rest of my stay I only needed to ask! Both rooms were super comfortable, clean and a decent size. All staff that I spoke to were lovely and helpful. Loved having an onsite pool as it was boiling in Orlando and was perfect for a nice rest from the parks. There were lots of choices in the food court and these were all really tasty. The buses to the parks were convenient and often. I travelled solo and felt completely safe at this hotel. My literal only complaint would be that after my first day in the parks I returned to my room absolutely exhausted and found two men trying to fix my door (it didn't self-shut) - I get that this had to be done but at 10PM? In the end they left after about 10 minutes and said they'd come back the next morning whilst I was out to fix it which they did. Thank you so much to all the staff at All Start Sports for my 5* service and for saving my holiday!

I wasn't impressed with this Disney resort. The people were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean but very basic and outdated and small. Don't get the meal plan (only 1 was offered to me). I really felt like I got gipped because my meal plan was expensive, but included a sit down meal each day, BUT sit down meals weren't available at the resort or other All-Star Resorts around me. I asked how to get to them but time didn't allow because of the slow shuttles and having to transfer twice to get to another resort. I feel like I paid for something I didn't get although we were allowed to trade them for the grab-n-go meals, everyone tells me, it certainly wasn't an equal trade. Shuttle service was seriously lacking for the ESPN soccer tournament. We spent SO much time waiting. IF I ever come to Disney again, I've learned a lot to avoid in order to enjoy our visit more.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay here last week. The rooms were clean and beds were super comfortable. We didn't have a coffee pot in the room, but enjoyed the coffee in the hotel restaurant. Everyone was extremely friendly and we were able to reach every park including the ESPN Wide World of Sports via bus. The pools were nice and clean and this resort would be perfect for a family vacation! I highly recommend.

I stayed from a Wednesday-Friday, for a reasonably price for Disney. It was 3 adults in 1 room, we weren't falling over each other, but I would be prepared to kind of sleep on each....as the beds are only full sized beds as opposed to queen beds that are normally in hotel rooms. It wasn't so much of a problem, but if I were to stay here again I wouldn't do it with 3 people so I could have my own bed. Also if you are a coffee addict, bring your own coffee maker because there are NONE in the rooms! We have a small portable coffee maker that we were able to bring. Food The food at this resort is amazing!!! Totally underrated! We actually ended up eating 2 breakfast, 1 lunch and a dinner there. It's great food for pretty good Disney food price! For breakfast I got the Mickey waffles with sausage and bacon one morning, a bagel the other. Everything was delicious! For lunch it was right after we checked in and just about to head to MK. I ate the Turkey Panini with house made chips, I would eat this every day!! My only regret is not getting a picture of it!!! For dinner it was the night we checked in we had come back from MK and were thinking about going to Epcot, but we were tried and knew we had the next day for epcot for we went to see what they had for dinner. They have steak y'all! Good steak too! It had to have been 4oz. It came with garlic butter on top, 2 sides and a dinner roll for 15.99! The steak was so tender you could cut it with a plastic butter knife! I also got the Gus Gus cupcake that was perfect! So moist and delicious! The staff was so nice and helpful throughout the 3 days, your typical amazing Disney staff! Transportation is busses, they came pretty regularly and because of where the resort is it's not a long ride to MK, or Epcot or any of the other parks I would think I would totally recommend this hotel, especially if you're on a budget!
