From January 2026 until late April 2026, the Surfboard Bay Pool and the kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort will be closed for maintenance. During this time, the Grand Slam Leisure Pool at Disney’s All-Star Sports will continue to be available. Additionally, Guests are welcome to use the other pools throughout Disney’s All-Star Resorts, including the Calypso Pool, Piano Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Music Resort; and the Fantasia Pool, Duck Pond Pool and kiddie pool at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort.

Disney's All-Star Sports Resort is a family-friendly resort located in Lake Buena Vista, close to Blizzard Beach, Disney's Animal Kingdom, and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Additional points of interest include Epcot.

Giant-sized surfboards line the pool area and a kiddie pool is available nearby. A baseball diamond-shaped pool features a Goofy fountain that squirts water at swimmers. Campfire activities are available seven days a week during sunset hours. Movies Under the Stars is a fun to do with families and friends after a day at the park. Jogging trail playground and games arcade are also available at the resort.

Disney's All-Star Sports Resort's End Zone Food Court serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner (fee). A poolside bar and a bar/lounge are open for drinks. Room service is available during limited hours. Recreational amenities include a children's pool. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Complimentary shuttle services include a roundtrip airport shuttle and a theme park shuttle. Additional property amenities include a concierge desk, an arcade/game room, and multilingual staff. This is a smoke-free property.

We’ve visited Disney World four times previously, all before having children, and had stayed in Kissimmee and along International Drive. This time, we decided to experience a Disney hotel. As a value resort, our expectations were fairly modest, but the resort itself is great—plenty of space, large pools, an on-site food court, and buses to the theme parks right at your doorstep. The rooms have been recently refreshed, though they are quite compact. That said, as expected, you’re really just using the room to shower and sleep. The only downside was the fridge, which was quite small and didn’t stay very cold. You can easily walk to the other value resorts—All-Star Music is literally across the car park, and All-Star Movies is just beyond that. Since Sports is the most affordable of the three, I’d recommend staying here, as I didn’t notice any added benefits or upgrades at the others to justify a higher price. We really enjoyed our stay—clean, bright, with convenient food options and a pool to relax in after a big day. The only drawback is that if you want to explore beyond Disney, you’ll need a car or Uber. There is a McDonald’s about a 10-minute walk away. If your anything like me, when the rest of the family are resting jump on the Disney bus to Disney Springs, then head out on boat to explore other resorts. Port Orleans for the Beignets are worth the trip.

We stayed here 3 times and had a good experience. The property is very spread out with different buildings. The rooms have a queen bed & the other queen bed is a murphy bed. You can do advance check in through the Disney App & when you get to your room, you can just tap your phone to open the door. It has a big store on site plus a food court. The food in the food court is on the expensive side, but it wasn't too bad. Dinner choices were better than breakfast. Dinner had some decent options. You can get free parking at the parks when you stay at a Disney resort. We went in February which was less expensive than other times. Pool was closed & under renovation. Disney hotels have gotten very expensive.

Disney All Star is a truly amazing resort with a full list of Themed activities. They have a full range of resort amenities including a gift shop, arcade, food court , themed pools, themed courtyards, shuttle buses to and from Theme Parks. Rooms are spacious and perfect for families. Preferred rooms are the best if you do not want to walk far after a long park day. We missed out on movie night by the pool but plan to attend on our next family getaway.
