Disney's All-Star Music Resort in Orlando, FL

Having previously stayed in the other 2 All-Stars, Music is just as good. It's a great price point for busy days at the parks, with 2 comfy beds and plenty of space. Housekeeping came every 2nd day, and always left clean towels. We actually like being in the non-preferred rooms in buildings away from the pool and food court, so we loved the country music block. Lots of options in the food court- big fan of the sesame chicken- and it's great that's it's open until 11 for late night snacks and water. The buses to the parks are great and there is a regular service from early until late.

My fianće & I stayed here 2 weeks ago for 4 nights. We chose this resort because it was on Disney property and it was one of the few affordable Disney hotels available. The room was fantastic- lots of space, 2 queen beds, a table with chairs, plenty of drawers and closet space. My only complaint about the room is that the bed was hard as a rock, it was one of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever laid on. The hotel was very easily navigable. One of our favorite spots especially late night after the parks would be the food court. We purchased the Disney cups for 22.99$ so at our hotel we can continuously refill unlimited amounts of times at the soda stations. We also were able to bring these cups to the park for water. The free bus service to the parks is such a plus for staying in a Disney resort. As always, Disney does an excellent job providing a very comfortable place to stay. We have stayed in All Star Movies in the past, so chose All Star Music for a change. The resorts are the same, except for the theme. The resort is huge! The rooms are large, beds are comfortable and amenities are extensive. There are multiple pools, games room, a shop, food court and they have activities every day. The staff are so nice and helpful. They can store your luggage and your deliveries from grocery stores. Transportation is only by bus to the parks, but the wait was never very long.

Our family of two adults, a 10-year old and an 8-year old stayed here for two weeks at the end of October. We chose this hotel for the family suite. We liked having two double Murphy beds that pulled down over the dining table and the sofa. Two years ago we stayed in Art of Animation in a Cars themed room and they had a Murphy bed over the dining table as well but their second bed was a sofa bed which wasn't as convenient as you had to assemble and reassemble the sofa bed everyday. Beds are super comfy which is welcome after long days. The double bed in the separate bedroom is a proper double and not two singles pulled together. Our room was in the Calypso block and we requested a top floor room which helped reduce noise. Our room faced the guitar shaped swimming pool and it was also close to the end of the block which was handy so we could take the stairs up and down to get to the food court, shop, pool and transportation. The theming in the room is subtle and fun. Whilst All Star is not as modern as Art of Animation, the kitchen area is bigger and storage space is better. The bathroom off the living area has storage, iron and iron board and the bath tub. There is a hairdryer and safe in the room. The double room has a comfy chair and foot stool plus more storage in the en-suite shower/sink/toilet area. Bathrooms have soaps and shampoo provided. The en-suite has a rain shower and shower head attachment which is helpful to shower kids. However, the other bathroom with the bath tub only had the rain shower and no attachment which isn't so helpful when that's the one our kids used. Showers are hot and pressure is decent. There are plenty of power sockets with USB sockets too so you don't have to worry about adapters. The kitchen is well equipped with a large fridge and freezer, microwave, coffee/tea making, disposable cups, plates and cutlery. On our last visit we used online shopping delivered to concierge for some small groceries and bottled water but this time we brought our own and a couple of water bottles with filters. We got water from the food court or quick service restaurants at the parks and decanted our filtered water into our kids water bottles to save on cost. With our meal plan, we could get bottled water on the dining credit as well. Housekeeping (or Mousekeeping) was every second day and comprehensive. There is a laundrette by the guitar pool if needed. Our Mousekeeper made cute Mickeys with our towels. Cast Members throughout the resort were friendly and helpful. When we did need to visit reception it was quick and efficient. The room has a 'Hey Disney' device to play music and radio which the kids enjoyed. We also used it to contact to Mousekeeping when needed. Food court (Intermission) was good and same standard of quality you get in other Disney food outlets. You can dine-in and order takeaway. The menus are on the app plus they cater for different dietary requirements. Singing Spirits is the bar which is open late. We got two refillable souvenir drinks cups which was fine for the 4 of us as our meal plan had drinks included. The shop and restaurant sell milk and other essentials, plus fresh fruit. As well as the pools which all have lifeguards on duty, free swimming aids for kids and plenty of sun loungers and towels, there are outdoor games for kids like chess, droughts, pool, table tennis etc. Perhaps they could do with more umbrellas for shade by the swimming pool. There is an entertainment programme which is fun for the kids like games in the swimming pool, toasting marshmallows at the fire pit, outdoor movie nights etc. The lobby area by reception has soft seating and TV showing Disney animated films. The TV in the room has loads of channels plus additional Disney content which we enjoyed. You an also log in to your own Disney+ account if you wish! The My Disney App is a must and you can use the app to check in/out and unlock your room door (as well as using your Magic Bands if you have them). The app also has the next bus times for your resort. Bus transportation is excellent although we preferred the Skyliner access to Epcot from Art of Animation as it took you the the entrance closest to Remi's Ratatouille ride. However, the bus stop at Epcot puts you closer to the likes of Guardians and Test Track for early entry rope drop. The app also gives you the menus for all the food outlets and allows you to do mobile ordering for quick service restaurants which saves you time. You can make reservations on the app for sit down restaurants including at Disney Springs like Rainforest Cafe, Planet Hollywood Wolfgang Puck etc. Overall, we felt this hotel was excellent value for money for the quality, location, amenities and room type. Coming from the UK we stayed on UK time initially to make the most of early entry rope drop which is a benefit of staying on Disney property. Eating a little earlier also meant we avoided peak times at restaurants. As our body clock adjusted we stayed in the parks later to see the fireworks and late night shows. Enjoy!

Great "value" resort! The room is comfortable with one queen Murphy bed that folds up to create a table as needed. Small bathroom (the shower/toilet area), sink is separate. Food court has a good selection. No other restaurant on site...It would be nice to have at least one sit-down restaurant in the All Star resort area. Shuttle buses to parks and Disney Spring. It was easy to get an Uber.
