Developer Inn Maingate a Baymont by Wyndham Kissimmee, FL

My family and I only stayed one night, but it was a good experience. The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable—we slept well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, restful stay.

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE! Consider this a serious warning to anyone thinking about booking the Developer Inn / Baymont by Wyndham in Kissimmee. The so-called “renovated rooms” in their photos are an absolute deception. What you actually get is a filthy, mold-infested pigpen of a room that looks, feels, and smells disgusting. After just one night, I woke up with severe allergic reactions caused by heavy mold colonies growing around the air conditioner vents, under the cracks on the ceiling, and corner areas around the room. The entire room reeked of dampness and mildew, and it was impossible to simply breathe comfortably. I was told by staff that moving to another room would not solve anything because other rooms would be the same. That says a lot about how deeply neglected and filthy this property truly is. The complete opposite of what they advertise on booking websites. To make matters worse, when I contacted Agoda, the third-party booking agent, the hotel outright lied and claimed that I had never spoken to them about the issues. That’s not just bad service, it’s dishonest and unacceptable. Not surprising, considering they do advertise the rooms as renovated. As I was unfortunately deceived by pictures that were probably taken years ago when a renovation was done, and they had a clean room, I had two separate bookings there, and when due to the lack of a solution I was forced to try again and check in for a second stay, I again had to leave for the exact same reasons: unbearable mold, stench, and filth everywhere. Both times, I had to leave due to sheer unlivable conditions. Interestingly enough, they have the audacity to call themselves a “resort” and charge you resort fees for this dump that is nothing but a health hazard. Now that I am back home, I also realized that there are more charges to my credit card than the deposit, so I will have to even investigate that, because at the end of the day, clearly I can not trust them. Regardless, due to the condition of this place that should not even be open for business due to sanitary reasons, I am left with no choice but to dispute the charges with my credit card company, and I will probably report this establishment to the health authorities, so they can take action. I warn you, unless you have no other shelter available, avoid this dump at all costs. It is unsanitary, unsafe, and completely unfit for guests.

The front desk staff was very nice. However, the night staff said my room number out loud, which I didn't appreciate as others were around. The room was clean & cold. The bed was comfortable. The air was loud, but it didn't bother us. The hot water in the shower took 5mins to get hot. The breakfast was good; recommend an additional waffle maker.

Very friendly and a great stay, everything works properly and the breakfast was very good. Love the fact breakfast is included in your stay
