"Worst Front Desk Management"

Tonight (December 3, 2024), I called from the airport to inquire about the shuttle bus. The phone at the front desk kept ringing and eventually terminated. Between my wife and I, we must have called more than 10 times. I then decided to call reservation instead of the front desk, a lady answered and told me that she will direct the inquiry to the front desk. After waiting for another 15 minutes on the line waiting for her to get back to me and eventually she asked me to call the front desk again myself because she could not get through either. She then told me that she was in a different office. I must had asked every single shuttle bus that stopped if they would take me to Days Inn. Finally after an hour of waiting, a shuttle bus for various hotels did showed up and Days Inn was the last stop of 5 other hotel stops. Once I got there, I asked the young man at the front desk why he did not answer 10+ calls and he said: Oh, I must be busy….. when there was no one in the lobby area. Worst experience I ever had after traveling extensively in the last 50 years.

An hour for the airport shuttle. Used condoms and wrappers in the trash can. I just hope the sheets were clean as it was too late to complain. There was no breakfast. I had to go to Denny's which was close. The lobby smelled of sewer and it was bad by the bathrooms. I would not stay here again

"Not as advertised"

We were very disappointed with our stay at the "Days Inn by Wyndham Irving Grapevine DFW Airport North". We were traveling internationally and had an overnight layover and chose this hotel because of the proximity to the airport, the free shuttle and the included breakfast. We were not advised that we had to call to request the airport shuttle and waited for 45 minutes before calling which incurred a significant charge to our cell phone bill as we are not from the US and needed to incur roaming charges. We were then told it would be another 30 minutes. We also received a text message welcoming us and advising us that the shuttle would be every 30 minutes. This was very confusing and frustrating after a long day of travel. The "light breakfast" included a paper bag with a few granola bars. Again, extremely disappointing as we were planning for our family of 4 to eat breakfast at the hotel before going to the airport. The room itself was mediocre but was ok for a 1-night stay with a layover.

The staff were amazing and attentive. Hotel needs some plumbing work and upgrades. Commode ran constantly. Bathtub faucet needs addressing a well as sink faucet Other than that most pleasant Ava enjoyable experience Economically feasible

"Suitable for a Long Layover"

Suitable for a layover flight not a vacation hotel. I used bed bug spray to ensure the eradication of any possible bed bugs. 'Breakfast included' is a choice of coffee, tea and juice. You are handed a paper bag with a muffin, three breakfast bars and a bottle of water. This was not an issue for me. You get what you pay for. The bathroom towels have stains. The bed linen did not have any stains. Room appeared clean. Environment was quiet for a good night's rest. Iron and ironing board included. Dove body wash and shampoo and conditioner available in bathroom. Proximate enough to the hotel about 15-20 minutes depending on the traffic. Shuttle to the airport was on time and efficient.
