Description

Sedona’s remote canyons are just as stunning as its ascending trails. Discover their beauty on this 2-hour Coyote Canyons Tour as you ride in a custom, open-air Pink Jeep® Wrangler into Sedona's outback where wildlife, scenery, and photo ops abound.

Your Certified Interpretive Guide will meet you at the Pink Jeep Tours Plaza in Uptown Sedona and you'll enjoy a leisurely drive through town. You'll see and learn about the many iconic red-rock formations that Sedona is known for—Snoopy Rock, Coffee Pot Rock, and Thunder Mountain to name a few.

As your guide navigates the off-road trails through high desert topography, you may stop at the historic Van Deren Cabin. This 19th-century homestead was a filming location for the classic 1948 Western “Blood on the Moon,” starring Robert Mitchum.

Look for the wildlife that makes its home in the canyons. You may see javelinas, mule deer, or coyotes. You’ll also head through Dry Creek, a shaded stream bed with native Arizona trees and lush landscape. Listen closely as your local adventure guide shares stories about the area’s many washes, canyons, trails, and vegetation.

Sit back, relax and take in the peaceful solitude of the backcountry. The canyons are beautiful any time of day, but the red rocks take on an ethereal glow during sunset. It’s the perfect time to reflect on where your next Pink Jeep Tours adventure might take you.

A little underwhelming. Guide was nice enough and we learned a few things but could have driven to areas we visited. I would suggest not taking the tame trip but the 4x4 off road trips. A little pricey for what you get.

Pink Jeep was great. The check in was quick and easy. Their communication leading up to check in was timely and accurate. Our 2.5 hour Scenic Rim Tour was lead by SteveO. Steve was extremely knowledgeable of the rock formations and plant life as we headed up a very rugged trail/road. This tour takes you up a very unmaintained road that used to be the only way to get to Flagstaff back in the day. This is an extremely rocky and bouncy trip. If you don’t like to be jostled around or get any kind of car sickness, pick a different tour, they have several. However, even with it being so rocky, the suspension on the jeep is fantastic and doesn’t throw you around as much as you might expect. The views up to Merry Go Round rock are spectacular and Steve kept us entertained with many funny stories about his life and travels. You will take many pictures at Merry Go Round rock and none of them will do the views justice. The trip back down was a little quicker even with stops to take more pictures. Thank you Steve and Pink Jeep for a truly memorable experience.
