I recently stayed at Rosen Inn Lake Buena Vista and overall had a pleasant experience. Check-in was fast, my room was ready on arrival, and there were no hidden fees. Felisha at reception provided outstanding service—10/10. The room and linens were clean and comfortable, but some cleanliness issues could be improved (hair on the bathtub mat, mold in the soap dish). My minibar issue was not fully resolved, and there was no follow-up call. Common areas and the buffet need better hygiene: sneeze guards and window frames were dirty, and some food was not properly heated. The staff, however, were extremely friendly and attentive (10/10). I also recommend expanding the coffee selection—an in-house option could increase revenue rather than relying only on Starbucks. The pool area was well-stocked with towels, and the small lake-view terrace near the buffet would be great for breakfast. For me, cleanliness, hygiene, and staff friendliness are most important. Overall, a good stay with room for improvement.

We stayed at this hotel from March 5th 2026 for two weeks and absolutely loved our time there. While some of the rooms may be considered a little dated in style, they were clean, smelled fresh, and had fantastic air conditioning. We were checked in by Nissa, who was very welcoming and a joy to deal with. To be honest, every member of staff we came into contact with was just as friendly. Nissa explained everything we needed to know, issued our room key, took the $50 deposit for any damages, and gave us a free gift pack with local discounts we could redeem at another counter during our stay. The $50 deposit was returned much quicker than we expected and was back in our bank as we landed back in the UK, although this will likely vary depending on your bank. We were on the 4th floor and found it very quiet during our first week. In the second week, spring breakers arrived and we did start to hear people passing the room loudly at 5 to 6am with no consideration for others. That said, we were up early most days for the parks anyway, so it didn’t bother us too much. As mentioned, the room itself was slightly dated, mainly due to the dark wood furniture, but honestly, it didn’t matter. Everything worked perfectly. The air conditioning was brilliantly cold, and when the temperature dropped outside, it heated the room up quickly. All the extras such as the iron and ironing board, coffee maker, TV, hair dryer and fridge worked without issue. And I have to mention the fridge, weirdly amazing. Maybe it was the Florida heat, but drinks and fruit stored in there were next level cold and made coming back after a hot park day even better. The free shuttle service, which is run by an external company, was good, but some of the timings didn’t quite make sense. For example, getting dropped off later in the day but having an earlier return time, which made it tricky to do both rope drop and fireworks. We ended up using Lyft to Disney World for around $10-$15, then making our way to EPCOT and the end of the day to catch the free 10:15pm shuttle back to the hotel. We didn’t eat at the hotel restaurants as we were always in the parks, but they seemed popular and always smelled great, so I’d imagine they are decent. The on-site shop was really useful, great for late night snacks, and when we both came down with a cold, it was a lifesaver. They had reasonably priced medication like DayQuil and Advil, plus a good range of first aid items behind the counter. We didn’t use the pool, but from what we saw it looked clean, well maintained, and inviting. There’s also a laundromat on site if needed. A full wash and dry cycle is around 90 minutes, and you can buy tokens on-site. We didn’t use it ourselves, so can’t comment on pricing or machine quality. In the main building, where reception, the restaurant and shop are, there is also a games room with a mix of old and new arcade machines and prize games. It is a good way to pass some time, especially if you have kids. There is also a desk next to reception where you can collect discount tickets and possibly book experiences, although we didn’t use this. One thing we really liked was the added sense of security. Unlike some other hotels in the area, there is a single entrance and exit that is staffed by security 24 hours a day, which was reassuring. The surrounding area also felt very nice, with lots of green space and water features, which made it feel a bit more relaxed and less built up than other parts of Orlando. The location turned out to be much better than we expected. We only realised on our second to last day how much was within walking distance. Disney Springs, Denny’s, IHOP, Burger King, gift shops, Olive Garden, Starbucks, Dunkin’ and more are all nearby. We could get to places like Denny’s in about 10 minutes, and Disney Springs in around 30 to 45 minutes depending on pace. Our favourite way to do it was to walk partway, stop for breakfast or a wander around a gift shop, then continue on. It made the walk feel much shorter. The route felt safe, well lit, and mostly set back from the main road along tree lined paths on Disney property. Once at Disney Springs, we used the free Disney transport. For example, getting a bus to Disney’s Contemporary Resort, which is about a 5 minute walk to Magic Kingdom, or hopping on the monorail over to EPCOT. We both said if we stayed again, we would definitely do the walk more often as it was really enjoyable. If you are getting a Lyft or Uber, there is a lovely covered pickup area at the entrance with comfortable seating, overlooking greenery and a water fountain. Alternatively, the lobby is a great place to wait, with comfy sofas and a relaxed atmosphere. For the free park shuttle, you simply wait at the bus stops opposite the lobby, which have both shaded and unshaded seating. There is also a huge outlet centre with fantastic prices on designer items, it’s located behind the hotel (you can see it from the pool area, but as it’s highways between the two, it’s about a 15-20 minute Uber or Lyft drive in our experience. But it still only cost us $25 to get there and back with tips included. To finish, this hotel is fantastic. As self confessed travel snobs, we genuinely cannot fault it for the price. If I had to pick one complaint, it would just be my personal dislike of dark wood furniture 😅 The rooms were clean and well equipped, the staff were consistently lovely, and there is very little you cannot do from this Walt Disney World Good Neighbour hotel. We have already recommended it to friends and would happily stay again. Keep up the great work Rosen Inn LBV team.

Stayed here was a good hotel to stay at but I was sold a buffet breakfast and put on grab and go options instead.. when I complained about this not being substantial and asking for a refund on breakfast love holidays refused but changed there site details and took buffet breakfast out of the description and put on the bottom that its grab and go paid 900 for breakfast when grab and go is 6dollars a day! Had to pay an extra 10 dollars a day per head to upgrade when I had already paid more than it would of cost directly through the hotel which is £14.95 dollars love holidays refused and even threatened my whole holiday to cancel the hotel which was fully refundable free of charge till a week before we went also there is only 1 pool not two like it states in the description more lies on love holidays part and the splash bit for the kids is all corroded from the buckets of water that fill and spill over it’s ripped all the tarmac off the floor! The beds are a small double in the twin room definitely not fit for two adults to share.. the noise from the highway isn’t bad if you have earplugs it’s never bothered us once but the stomach bug we got did unfortunately! The towels don’t get changed everyday like described on check in the first few days we had to request it. I didn’t see no bugs at all all the staff are very helpful and things get done as soon as you request them, can’t fault the hotel itself but the description is wrong and that’s love holidays
