"A consistent pleasure"

We’ve been staying at the Chateau Victoria every time we have visited the provincial capital over almost a decade. It is comfortable, conveniently located, and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful. Clive’s and Vista 18 are delightful places to eat and relax before and after a show.

Excellent hotel. Superb location close to everything. Awesome service…and best of all…Proudly Canadian. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Price was very reasonable. Car parking was easy and close bye. We didn't eat there but I heard someone in the elevator say they had a great meal

"We love the Chateau Victoria"

We had two different types of accommodation this trip, an accessible room and a one bedroom suite. Our stays were pleasant as always. We have stayed at the Chateau Victoria when we travel to Victoria for approximately thirty years. The Vista 18 restaurant is excellent. The beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are good with good quality amenities. I like the use of the free shuttle to travel within the downtown area. Also the Valet service is excellent to park our rental vehicle and when we ask for it, it is delivered at the front door of the hotel immediately. The hotel location is excellent, just a block off Douglas, close to restaurants, shopping, the Harbour, the Royal Museum of BC, the Legislature building. The staff are friendly and very helpful. We are looking forward to a return stay in the not too distant future,

"A Great, Locally-Owned Canadian Hotel"

Check-in was a breeze with a friendly, welcoming staff. There were ample EV chargers included, and self-parking was easy. The room was attractive, comfortable, and clean. We didn't have time to use the pool, but the Vista 18 Restaurant provides wonderful views and good food (we've eaten there before). Also, there's an award-winning Greek Restaurant right next door. The only downside was noise from a nearby pub at closing time, so I would advise getting a room on the front (south) side or the east side of the building. It's also nice to stay at a locally-owned Canadian hotel.

"Terrific al away around"

They were completely accommodating. I was accidentally booked into a hotel that didn't allow pets the woman who booked me in even bumped up my room to a suite. I had an event as used their free shuttle to go and get back was given free parking. I think she could tell how upset I was over the whole situation. I'd recommend the chateau Victoria to anyone who asks me where to stay in Victoria. They also have a rooftop restaurant aswell as a gym. Friendly staff who go out of there way to make you feel welcome. Thank you.
