"Beautiful hotel and view of downtown Victoria"

We always enjoy our stay at the Chateau Victoria where the rooms are both elegant and comfortable. Great location for spending time downtown. A special shout out to the Vista 18 lounge and service, Cory makes amazing cocktails and the view of the city is second to none. We will be back again and again.

"Victorias best hotel"

This hotel is the best!! Fully booked the reception staff were still able to accomodate myself and family. I have stayed at Chateau Victoria for many years and highly reccomend it. This hotel is everything for everyone. Convenient location, well appointed rooms, many with kitchenettes, the MOST obliging housekeeping staff and beautiful pool. Great for families with children to retirees like myself seeking a home away from home. From help with parking etc. everyone strives to make your hotel stay the best possible and reasonably priced.

A must stay! All staff greet you with a kind interested acknowledgement. We’ve stayed at The Chateau Victoria many times over the past 3 years and each visit is super! Location couldn’t be better for access to all downtown attractions, restaurants, Beacon Hill park and beaches! Beautiful walks/treks to Cook St, mile zero, Esquimalt, Dallas Rd - Beach Rd ocean views. Vista 18 is a great option, staff are so friendly. I have an EV and there are free charging sites on site. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. All in all a consistently great stay!

Wow! from the moment we walked in the door the welcome and service was exceptional. Made you feel like a family member back for a visit. Offered dining suggestions both in the hotel and around Downtown Victoria. All staff that you met throughout the hotel are friendly and welcoming. Loved the valet service (no extra charge) - the parking is tight for larger vehicles but they take the stress away by doing it for you. Great location for exploring downtown Victoria.

"Great location, basic rooms"

Amazing location, very close to anything you need downtown. Parking is an added fee and tight, but with a small car it was no problem. The front desk staff were efficient and polite. The building is a bit old and I found the room to have a bit of a dusty smell but the bed was very comfortable. There is also no sound proofing between rooms so the second night, I awaken a lot by the people beside me who were quite loud. Vista 18 restaurant has a beautiful view of the city, I didn't get a chance to eat there so can't comment on the food but the menu was a bit small. Pool and hot tub area was clean. If you're looking for something quiet and more than basic, I would suggest staying somewhere else, especially for the price.
