Guests can bring their dogs to this dog-friendly hotel and not worry about parking spaces, as the property offers three self-parking lots on-site.

The hotel is conveniently located in the central area of Victoria, walking distance. The rooms are great, layout is perfect for families. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.

Staff are very friendly and personable. They try to go the extra mile in pleasing the clients. Bell/shuttle service is exceptional with Glenn and Jesse!

Spent Christmas at the Chateau Victoria…x 4 nights altogether & it was a perfect getaway! We had a suite with two separate rooms, both sitting & eating areas & a really well equipped kitchenette with even a microwave, coffeemaker, kettle & toaster! Thank you for a lovely Christmas!! Elizabeth

Chateau Victoria provided us a wonderful experience of downtown Victoria. We had dinner at a restaurant close by, had drinks at the Vista 18 in the evening and breakfast again at Vista 18. We very much appreciated all of the great service and services. Thanks especially for accommodating some small changes.

So the location of this hotel is great! Walkable to everything downtown. Close to the inner harbour. The service was honestly lacking. I was very disappointed. There was 4 of us in the room and when we walked in we didn’t have enough of anything for all of us. The room was set up for 2 people only so we had to call down and ask for extra towels, extra dishes which was annoying. Nobody came to tidy our room the next day either and again we had to call. The front desk staff were not very pleasant. Well the evening ones anyways. Nobody ever greeted you when you passed by. No smiles. No hello’s. I mean I get it they were not happy to have to work over the holidays but still…it’s kind of their job being at the front desk. The room itself was fine. The beds sucked so bad. Very soft and squishy mattress so if you have back problems stay somewhere else. Pillows sucked as well. I had neck pain after my 4 day stay. Maybe some rooms have better beds…I don’t know. First time we’ve encountered this. Most hotels we’ve stayed at beds have been excellent! The shuttle driver was amazing! And that is a great service to provide! Overall I would rate this as just ok. We brought our dog with us and it was one of the few places that allowed dogs. I think next time I’d look for a different hotel.
