Located next to the Pacific Ocean, Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, a Hilton Resort & Spa, features an outdoor pool and an elevated spa area, an on-site bar, and a restaurant. All the spacious rooms offer WiFi, a 50-inch HDTV with extended channels, an iPod docking station, a microwave, and a refrigerator. A comfortable desk and seating area are also featured in all rooms at the hotel. Select rooms offer balconies or patios with ocean views.

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Chandler’s Restaurant & Lounge is located on-site and offers a menu inspired by locally grown fresh products and features signature cocktails. For convenience, an on-site fitness center and a business center with fax and photocopying services are available at the hotel.

LEGOLAND and Carlsbad Premium Outlets are within five miles of the resort and conveniently accessed by the shuttle service. The San Diego Zoo and the San Diego International Airport are less than a 40-minute drive away.

Very nice resort! Calming vibe, good outdoor spaces for restaurant and pool area. Really enjoyed the spa - twice! 2 things needed: EV charging and coffee shop/small breakfast items (without spending $25+ per person).

My wife and I spent a couple nights at Cape Rey and honestly, it was exactly what we needed. The vibe there is calm, laid-back, and just steps from the ocean — which made it easy to slow down and actually enjoy time together. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had that breezy coastal feel that makes you want to leave the windows open and just breathe for a while. We loved being able to walk out, wander the beach, grab coffee, explore the area, and then come back to a place that felt peaceful and relaxing. Nothing felt rushed or stressful. It was just a good space to reconnect, talk, laugh, and reset a bit. The staff was friendly, the property is beautiful, and the whole experience felt smooth and simple — which is exactly what we were hoping for. We’d go back again without hesitation. Great place for couples who want to get away, be near the water, and enjoy some quiet time together.

The staff was super friendly, and the hotel was just a short walk from the beach. Carlsbad Village was also pretty close to drive, and there were tons of cool shops to check out.

LOVED the hotel and had an INCREDIBLE stay! The hotel director, Kevin, including his frontline staff, Michelle, Ampy, & Stephanie, made all of us feel welcomed and were incredibly helpful and accommodating. You couldn't ask for a better staff. We will absolutely return to the property and look forward to seeing them again.
