Located next to the Pacific Ocean, Cape Rey Carlsbad Beach, a Hilton Resort & Spa, features an outdoor pool and an elevated spa area, an on-site bar, and a restaurant. All the spacious rooms offer WiFi, a 50-inch HDTV with extended channels, an iPod docking station, a microwave, and a refrigerator. A comfortable desk and seating area are also featured in all rooms at the hotel. Select rooms offer balconies or patios with ocean views.

Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Chandler’s Restaurant & Lounge is located on-site and offers a menu inspired by locally grown fresh products and features signature cocktails. For convenience, an on-site fitness center and a business center with fax and photocopying services are available at the hotel.

LEGOLAND and Carlsbad Premium Outlets are within five miles of the resort and conveniently accessed by the shuttle service. The San Diego Zoo and the San Diego International Airport are less than a 40-minute drive away.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff was very nice. The rooms were clean, the carpets could have been a little cleaner. I did not like that the hotel charged us $40 for parking or $45 for valet, per day. The parking lot was the only place to park and all guests are obliged to park and pay. So this fee is not fair. I also found it un necessary to charge a resort fee of $35.00. The receptionist told us it was for the pool, chairs, and towels.... this should be included in the $250.00 a night cost of the room. Also, no continental breakfast was provided, only a coffee station.

Resort was beautiful, very clean. Loved the perks of valet, shuttles, spa and beach supplies (chairs, towels). Valets were very helpful. Pool and exercise room were nice, clean and great to get drinks and food delivered to pool. Restaurant was overpriced for quality of food though.

Most of the staff were lovely and very accommodating- shout out to Michelle for a super smooth check in. I was a little bummed with how crowded the outdoor space was and the limited dining accommodations. Online it mentioned 5 restaurants... perhaps it needs to be updated? The single restaurant onsite wasnt quite the family friendly experience we were hoping for and had to leave the hotel multiple times per day for various meals. I was also take aback by the amount of holds that were put on my card, more than doubling my initial quote.

I had a great experience at this hotel. Location was beautiful with the beach at short walking distance with available beach packs included with the daily resort fee. The pool area was great with beautiful ocean views. The spa was also an added bonus to have in the same building to wind down after a long day or to start up your day. The room was clean and quiet inside with great blackout curtains. The valet team was the absolute best! They did everything they could to make our stay easy & enjoyable. The included shuttle service by the valet team made it so easy to get to legoland with our family. I will definitely come back here in the future.
