"Always a pleasure checking in"

We stay often at the Park Plaza and usually arrive from a very long red eye flight. We are always met by Sean at the front desk for check in. Sean is without a doubt the kindest, sweetest , happiest and most gracious person ever ! I have NEVER seen him without a smile on his face and always cheerful. He makes our checking in something we look forward to. When we leave and are walking towards the check-in desk, he always looks up and says `have a great flight !’ Even if he is helping someone, he acknowledges us as we leave. It is lovely ! You have a wonderful employee .

"Hidden Fee!!"

I booked through a third party ensuring that I was paying a good value for money compared to many other hotels in the area. My surprise was that when I checked out, eventhough the room was already paid, they charged me an additional $46 dollars for a so callled “Mandatoy Resort Fee” which wss mentioned in my reservation as a possible charge that could be made in small letters that I never read. I called the manager Rawan to waived it and she was rude and unflexible, saying she wouldn’t do anything to not charge it since it was mentioned in my receipt. We stayed one day and didnt use the amenities nor the facilities so that charge was not justified but the manager Rawan was rude and didnt care. WHY DONT THIS HOTEL DISCLOSE THE FULL PRICE OPENLY (not in smal letters) AND INCLUDE THIS FEE IN THE PRICE UPFRONT??? WHAT IS THE PURPOSE TO MISLEAD CLIENTS WITH A PARTIAL PRICE AND A BIG SURPRISE WHEN CHECKING OUT??? THIS IS AN EXAMPLE OF A HIDDEN FEE and UNETHICAL PRACTICES THAT SHOULD BE REGULATED AS IN OTHER INDUSTRIES????

As a flight attendant, having a microwave in your hotel room is very essential. And it is a real bummer because most hotels don’t have and do not offer microwaves in your room you have to go either to the lobby to use one or to another floor. While checking into the Park Plaza the receptionist asked if we would like a microwave brought to our rooms without us even asking. I was shocked and elated all at the same time. I go up to my room and not even ten minutes later Rajan is knocking on the door with my microwave. Normally when something is being sent up to your room in an hotel it takes at least 30 minutes or so for someone to bring it to you. Rajan was very kind and helpful. He put the microwave in my room set it up and made sure that it was working before he left. He even wiped it down before setting it up. I am extremely grateful to have had such an amazing experience.

"Lovely Hotel right by the Boston commons"

This is a lovely hotel right by the Boston Commons. The service is very good. For example, I asked for tea kettle, and Ranjan promptly brought me a tea kettle. There's also a large gym in the basement which I like. It's a bona fide gym with classes. Many hotels have a little room with like two treadmills and they call it their exercise room. This is totally different. This hotel has a very large floor filled with gym equipment. It's very nice.

"Disappointed by my stay, definitely not up to Hilton standards."

The room was in rough shape: peeling wallpaper, a worn-out tub, and a loud commercial-style toilet. The whole space felt more like a budget motel than a Hilton. Even small things were off, no coat rack, no door seals, and the only painting was oddly placed behind a lamp. The air conditioning was a major issue. It didn’t work when we arrived, and after several uncomfortable nights and a call to the front desk, we were given a fan. Only later did maintenance turn on the coolant (no idea why it was off), and even then, it took two more days to cool the room. The amenities were equally disappointing. The convenience store had outrageous prices with no visible pricing, forcing me to ask the cashier about everything. We were charged a resort fee that included a daily $15 dry cleaning credit (enough to clean one shirt) that you couldn’t roll it over for one dry cleaning day. There were no laundry facilities on-site either, so I ended up going to a laundromat down the street. The only real positives were the blackout curtains and the water fill station, small perks that I did appreciate.
