"Very Nice Resort"

The people at the front desk were very helpful. The room with the balcony was very nice to relax and enjoy the view or the daily sunset. The resort has a Walgreens with a liquor store right across the street. There's also a Publix store a block down the street. The public sunset trolley picks up riders in the front of the Resort every 30 minutes, max cost is $5.00 per Day. Lots to do within walking or riding distance of the Resort. I would highly recommend this Resort, but reserve Early. The weekend is usually full.

"Needs an Update"

We stayed at the Bilmar Beach Resort February 4-10, 2026. Pros: - Great location: close to many restaurants and tourist attractions - Free parking on site - Nice beach area - Sloppy Joe's is right next to the resort Cons: - The property needs a major upgrade: rooms are very outdated - The $35 per day resort fee is a rip-off: you don't really receive anything for this fee - Bottled water is not restocked in the room: you have to get poolside and if they are not there, then get it from the front desk - Ricky T's across the street plays very loud music nightly - Staff: One day 2, we came back around 3:30 and our room had not been cleaned. I called and a rude staff woman (unfortunately, I did not get her name) tried to argue with me that we only get the room cleaned every 3 days. I told her that was not correct, as the flyer we were given at check in said daily housekeeping and also our room was cleaned on day 1. She kept asking what we wanted and I finally convinced her to at least have someone bring us some fresh towels and coffee. For these reasons, we won't stay at this property again.

Family Sunset Photos was so easy and convenient to book and arrange. We were met directly outside our resort for the shoot and the photos came out amazing! Such a great way to capture our family vacation!

This was our second trip to the Bilmar and the customer service was amazing. We asked for a propane tank for the fire pit and before we got to our room they had it replaced. Highly recommend Sloppy Joes reasonably priced, excellent customer service and great food. Our beachfront room was spectacular, walking right onto the beach. We look forward to our next visit to the BIlmar

"Terrific Place"

We love this place! My wife made her 1st vacation to this resort in 1965 with her grandfather when she was 11. she is now 72. i think she has been here for vacation over 50 times, we figure. I have been vacationing with her for 30 years. will be staying here again this February , and know it will again be a wonderful time. Reasons why we always come back are, staff attitude, cleanliness, and location for great food and entertainment. stay here when at Tresure Island. you will love it also !!
