"Roach Motel. Do not stay."

Felt unsafe with the amount of homeless people outside. The chain lock felt insufficient and the patio door did not look secure. Cockroaches and other bugs. So gross. No carpet, rickety furniture, leaky faucets... The guy at the front desk was nice and said he already gave us the best room. We had to leave bc we felt unsafe and gross.

"Property needs some serious tidying!"

I had not stayed at this property in many years, and I'm sad to say that nothing improved since my last visit; in fact, it's worse. A number of really shady people staying there, or at least in the parking lot, with no security guard present. Garbage thrown around outside on the ground, including a corded business-style (aka hotel type) telephone, an old built in style bathtub, numerous drink cups/cans, a full bottle of Modelo beer, and cigarette butts everywhere. Trash in parking spaces and even a full size car battery. People are apparently too lazy to seek out trash cans, which there were a couple of. Room was OK, but despite specifically requesting a "quiet" room in my reservation, I was placed in the very noisy section where the noise from I-5 and Richards Blvd. was pretty loud all night. There was a large burn hole in the bed coverlet in my nonsmoking room. In addition, I'm a Diamond Select member; I don't care too much personally but they're supposed to mention it at check in, and offer a gift bag/bottled water. None of this took place. I asked when I checked in about security, based on the people I saw milling around, in addition to 5 or 6 vehicles with substantial damage on them. I was told they had security but that I shouldn't "rely" on it. What does that even mean? As I said, I went out a few times during my stay, and didn't see any even once. Breakfast was ok; no hardboiled eggs and no fruit cups. Just generic institutional scrambled eggs with no meat offering, bread and some suoer small apples, along with a pancake maker and muffins. Do better, BW!!!

"Worst Best Western I have stayed at!"

The worst hotel we have ever stayed at. It was rated a 7 so thinking it "should" be okay. First, we were given a room key that didn't work, had to bring everything we had back into the car and drive to lobby again. Room smelled, very old everything. Stains on sheets, we checked for bed bugs also, air conditioner was super loud and the curtains were like from the 70's. Homeless folks in parking lot and shady people in parking lot! I know it's a BW, but this is the worst one we have ever stayed at...you get what you paid for I guess.

This is the dirtiest hotel with the worst hospitality I’ve ever seen. Kept our deposit with no proof or apparent reason. The room was cleaner when we left then when we arrived. I am a diamond member and I was discriminated against and lied too.

Don’t stay here it is not a safe area. There’s a lot of drunk people and homeless. The receptionist had to walk around the property with a stick for his safety. Do not Stay here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!! !!!!
