I selected this hotel for the rate, thinking it would be a good value but found a few unpleasant surprises. Check-in was pleasant as the front desk staff was very upbeat and friendly. Room was nice, with two (!) sinks, multiple pillows, and very good in-room coffee. BUT although the hotel listing “showed” the breakfast icon, making me think there was free breakfast included, note that there is fine print (which I hadn’t seen, and I’m sure that’s the point) that you have to buy the onsite breakfast (we didn’t; we went to nearby IHOP!). There’s no lobby coffee-again, you have to buy it onsite. And the “complimentary“ bus to Universal Studios Theme Park actually went around a large block picking up so many people at other hotels that it was standing-room only by the time we reached the park *45 minutes later*. I was so mad that the front desk hadn’t been upfront about this delay, as I would’ve paid the $7 to uber there had I known! Soooo.....when looking for a budget stay, takes these things into consideration!

"Noise "

Currently here. Someone was drilling at poolside at 6:30am which woke us up. Then at 6:50 am the building work next door (which nobody mentioned at check in or on the website) started. There is a consistent beeping from heavy machinery carrying out building works next door. It’s now 8:45 and the noise has not stopped and the beeping from the machines has been consistent. There are a lot of options on IDrive so take one not next to a building site.

We stayed 3 nights thanksgiving week. Hotel has free shuttle to Universal, but our plans took us to Disney, so can’t comment on the shuttle. 15 min drive to Disney area, and for the price, it was very convenient and the “resort fees” were very reasonable compared to hotels closer to Disney. They have a heated pool and 2 hot tubs, which were amazing after spending the day walking around the parks. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, no issues. Breakfast was a little pricey $12/person, so we went to McDonald’s morning 1, Dunkin donuts morning 2, and Perkins morning 3...all less than 5 minutes away. My son used the fitness center, which he said was great as well, free weights, treadmill, elliptical, etc. Overall, this hotel was a great deal, and we will definitely stay here again.

This hotel was close to shopping and other amenities. Staff was very accommodating, friendly while also professional. The room was clean and we were able to rest because facility was quiet despite being located near high traffic area.
