Perfectly located, just off of International Drive, away from the traffic, yet close to the action! This hotel features “Sharky & Jack's” Caribbean restaurant & lounge, “Shades” New York-style deli, a seasonal pool bar, a lighted basketball court, a heated pool, 2 semi-private Jacuzzi’s, a large sun deck, and more.

Each guest room at this family-friendly hotel in Orlando features flat-screen TVs with HBO channels, mini-refrigerators, microwaves, high-speed WiFi, and more.

Free scheduled transportation to Universal Studios, SeaWorld, and Islands of Adventure are offered. The shuttle to Disney's Epcot transportation hub is $5.00 per person. All shuttles need to be reserved online at least 24 hours in advance. Plenty of dining options are nearby such as the Orlando's Restaurant Row beaming with fast food, casual, and fine dining options. Attractions are within a short driving distance from the hotel. SeaWorld Orlando is approximately a five-mile drive, Adndretti's Indoor Karting and Games is two miles away, and many attractions on International Drive are within ten minute's drive from this hotel. Orlando Vineland Premium Outlets is approximately 6.6 miles from the Best Western Orlando Gateway.

The resort fee is $14 per night, plus taxes ($15.75 inclusive) per room due to the hotel directly upon arrival.

I want to leave this review specifically for Carol. We stayed for three nights and were initially placed in a room with a shared door where we could hear everything, including loud laughter at 3 a.m., and we couldn't get any rest on the first night. The next day, Carol kindly assisted us and helped us move to a more isolated room. We are incredibly grateful for her help.

Checking in was easy but when I got to room it had mildew smell and the beds were questionable on if they were clean. I saw the sheets have stains. The room it self was worn out meaning old everything. I happen to kill a roach during my stay which I decided to checkout early. My tip to you is pay a little more for the peace of mind.

Best offsite hotel to stay. Best prices, free parking, 2 hot tubs, pool, fridge and microwave also no charge. Staff at front desk, Luciano and rest to cafe and restaurant are always so friendly and helpful. Easy access to universal all day. This is a Universal affiliate hotel also.
