"Relaxing and Tranquil Inn, Central Location"

Very nice inn in a location that feels much more secluded than it is. It is set back from a street with a McDonalds and Taco Bell, but you don’t feel that way—that close—while there. There is a little creek running behind the inn, which you can see, but not get to. The patio area has beautiful plants and flowers, a pool and jacuzzi, and is a great place to relax and have a bite or eat breakfast in the morning. (Breakfast was decent, but if you like coffee, the small machine coffee in the room was better than the weak coffee at breakfast.) Our room was nice, clean, no issues. I will say that as a tall person, the shower head was at my shoulder level, and I had to bend down to rinse my hair. One big bonus was that they offer a package that includes tickets to the nearby Skunk Train. I wanted to buy them from their site while planning the trip, but there are no refunds and we were driving long distances, so I was hesitant. The hotel offers a package including tickets, and if you cancel your reservation, the entire amount is refundable. This was ideal! Oh! They are strict about smoking—smoking anything—on the premises. They allow smoking in a gazebo at front of property, and will add a charge of $250 to your bill if smoking elsewhere. Not a bad place if you need to smoke something, so not a deal breaker IMO. Overall, I absolutely recommend staying here.

"The Best Choice in Willits!"

I just stayed at the Inn at Baechtel Creek and the staff was delightful, the setting was quiet-off the main road - and the road was large and comfortable and had everything I needed. As a woman business traveler I felt safe, cared for and slept like a baby! Definitely will be back.

"Great Experience"

Really great place with super friendly staff, we were there with a large group and felt very comfortable and it was great for our family to be able to convene there and reunite after a long time of not seeing one another. I would highly recommend this place. The only complaint keeping it from getting 5 stars is that the shower head was really uncomfortable, it felt like tiny needles were poking you!

"Wonderful little spot"

I went in off season, I think I was the only one there. But I was happy they were open because it's a nice little spot. Room is nice, clean, quiet which was great. Walked to a great Mexican spot across the street. Because it was off season the pool and hot tub were not available (no big deal). But they advertised a breakfast on site which I was sort of counting on. I confirmed this when I checked in at night. The next morning there was no breakfast but a voucher for nearby restaurant. Again, off season, should not have been a big deal. But I factored in eating quickly on site into my plans and not being given correct information the night before kind of screwed up my morning. Wish they had said something. I did end up going to nearby restaurant and it's also very good. Would stay here again.

"Value for the Money"

The Baechtel Inn was clean, comfortable, and the staff very helpful. We had a problem with one of our two rooms when we checked in (“scout” ants looking for food in the kitchen area), but our grandson was moved to another room and the problem quickly treated. It’s just a few minutes to downtown Willits and a good location for trips to the redwoods and the coast. We would stay again.
